Theme & Design

Outsourced 2 looks exactly as chaotic as you’d expect. The reels are set on a filthy, battered construction site, and you’ll see rats running loose in the background, surrounded by the remnants of what looks like it once had substandard safety standards anyway.

The symbols include playing card values, including 10, jack, queen, king, and ace, alongside theme-specific icons, all finished in a crude cartoon style, and visually, it’s not massively different from the original Outsourced, and that’s clearly intentional. We can’t help but feel there’s also quite a lot of Nine to Five inspiration showing here, particularly once the xNudge mechanics, workplace satire and insanely expensive God Mode start appearing.

Outsourced 2 Gameplay & Features

Outsourced 2 – Balkan Engineering is designed around a 4-reel, 5-row layout with 625 ways to win. Matching symbols need to land on at least three adjacent reels from left to right, and you can bet between €0.20 and €200 per spin. The default RTP is 96.04%, although, like pretty much all Nolimit City releases today, lower 94.06% and 92.05% configurations are also available. As you’d expect, volatility is extremely high.

The main base-game mechanic is Print Spins. Whenever you form a win, the winning symbols disappear and the affected positions respin. More importantly, each winning position receives a +1 multiplier, and if you get another Print Spin, these values can increase once again. This continues until a respin fails to produce another win.

Then there’s Infectious xWays. An Infectious xWays symbol reveals either a regular paying symbol with a size of between 2 and 4 or a useless blocker. If it reveals a paying symbol, matching symbols already in view are infected and expanded as well, and it’s possible to hit multiple infections at once, adding considerably more ways to win.

The xNudge Balkan Wild is a brand new Nolimit City addition, and it can land anywhere. When it does, it nudges its multiplier up by +1 for each step it takes. Multiple xNudge multipliers are added together when contributing to the same win, but there’s a catch: sometimes, the whole mechanic “malfunctions” – leaving you with a very disappointing 1x Wild.

You’ll also see Elevator symbols. In the base game, these can either reveal a blocker or immediately award one of the bonus modes. During a bonus, an Elevator can instead award 1, 2 or 7 additional spins, although, again, it can simply turn into a blocker.

Landing 3 bonus symbols triggers 4 Tilt Spins, while landing 4 awards 7 Tiltier Spins. Both modes carry across any position multipliers you managed to build in the base game (during the bonus’ triggering spins).

Finally, there’s Big Szukcess. If the B, O, O and M symbols combine, the game immediately awards its 11,111x maximum win, and this can happen in both the base game and the bonus round, although don’t expect to see it landing too often, as the odds are roughly 1 in 1.2 million spins.
