Game Overview
I think if I ever went down the route of robbing a bank, I’d want to have some pretty sharp reflexes, and what could be more nimble and cunning than a fox? Before you answer, I’m going to stop you right there, as a bushy-tailed sneaky little fox just happens to be the lead character in today’s game, Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist, from Play’n GO.
This hybrid cartoon-themed crime slot comes with two bonus rounds. The first is a free spins feature and the second a hold win bonus, with both having the potential to pay you up to 15,000x the bet.
Theme & Design
If the thought of a futuristic heist sounds like a lucrative affair to you, then you’re going to love what Play’n GO have done with the theme here on Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist. Long gone are the days of Inspired Gaming and their classic Cops ‘n’ Robbers Megaways; we’re welcomed by neon lights, modern buildings and fast cars in this release, so strap in for plenty of crime thrills and spills. Oh, and if you want to really dial into this game, the soundtrack has a bit of a groovy beat, so get your headphones plugged in for maximum effect.

Redtail Robber Cash Vault Heist Gameplay & Features
Play’n GO has opted for a 5×4 reel formation in Redtail Robber with 1,024 paylines active throughout, where wins will be awarded for 3 or more matching symbols connecting from left to right. The RTP is set to 96%, whilst betting options range from a budget-friendly €0.10 a spin up to a maximum of €50.
Standard gameplay on the slot is relatively boring if I’m honest. Yes, there is a collector fox symbol that will award any coin values that land in view, but other than that, it can be a little tedious. You will notice that all coins that land are collected by the fox at the side of the reels, but this won’t do anything unless it randomly triggers the hold and win bonus.
Speaking of which, if you’re not solely relying on the hold and win bonus to activate randomly, it’s also triggered when 6 or more coins land in view. During this bonus you are taken to a special set of reels with 3 respins where only coins, special symbols and blanks can appear. Each time a new symbol lands in view, your spin count is reset to 3. The bonus will end when your spins reach zero.
Last of all, we have the free spins round, triggered when a key symbol lands on reels 2, 3 and 4 simultaneously. You will be awarded 10 spins where a fox collector will appear on the reels and collect all coins that land in view. The fox may also increase in multiplier value, with the multiplier being applied to all winning coins that it collects.
Pros
- Features two bonus rounds
- Win up to 15,000x
- The hold and win feature can randomly trigger
Cons
- Two very ordinary feature rounds
- No bonus buy option
- Hard to see how the game can pay it's 15,000x max win
Final Thoughts
Redtail Robber might have a funky-looking theme and a banging soundtrack, but ultimately the bonus rounds are dull and a combo that we have seen thrown together many times before. Is this going to be the worst slot you play? Absolutely not, but I don't see this being a crime caper that you keep coming to for continued entertainment.
