It’s difficult to know what to compare this game too, if I’m honest – there aren’t many games which include Iraq or Persia in their title, probably due to the aggravated military situation between Western countries and the Middle East during the past three decades. As there are virtually no features or bonus rounds in The Emirate II, you would expect Endorphina to have added some really attractive wins to the paytable. After all, if the RTP isn’t contained here, then where else can it possibly be? First, a full pay line of the highest-paying wild symbol is worth 50x the current bet, whilst the top regular symbol is a character who could be a Sheikh and has a return of 20x for a full pay line of five-of-a-kind. A female character wearing a hijab tie with a superyacht for the third place position, both of which will pay you 10x your bet for all five symbols. A necklace, a fancy looking horn, and a jug are all tied for the next spot, sharing a payout of 5x your bet for fie-of-a-kind. The scatter symbol is something of an outlier and has a return of 500x your bet for all five, but those combinations are likely to be extremely rare even if there is no attached bonus round.

The game has 20 fixed paylines, whilst the overall wager per spin is determined by choosing a coin value. The lowest possible value is €0.01, resulting in a wager of €0.20 per spin, whilst the maximum of €1.00 creates a maximum bet of €20.00 for each round.

Once again, considering that no features or bonus rounds are included in The Emirate II, it would have made sense for Endorphina to try and do something special with the base game to distinguish this slot from all others on the market. For whatever reason, the developer has chosen not to bother – this is a standard 5x3 playfield slot, and all winning combinations require a minimum of at least three matching symbols starting from the left to score yourself a win.

The theoretical jackpot I mentioned having calculated in the opening paragraph, was determined by multiplying the payout for a full pay line of five wild symbols by the maximum of 20 possible paylines. This should be possible considering that the wilds appear stacked on the reels, but if it is not, the maximum win would be the 500x payout for five scatter symbols rather than the 1,000x that would result from a full screen of wild symbols.

Nothing to report here, sadly, unless you include the gamble feature. This is a standard option included in all of Endorphina’s online slots, however, so it cannot really be considered a special feature of The Emirate II.

Nevertheless, this is a decent gamble feature if you appreciate the option of gambling your winnings. Five playing cards are presented, the first of which is shown face up, and you are tasked with selecting a higher value card from one of the remaining four to double your winnings. 

If the face-up card is a two, your odds of winning are very good at 162%. However, if the face-up card is an Ace, those odds drop to just 42%, and you can only hope to tie the card rather than beat it.
