So how does Yggdrasil’s Splitz gaming engine fair in the grand scheme of things?
Whilst the base game didn’t do too much for us whilst playing Temple Stacks, we were genuinely excited once the free spin bonus had triggered. As we said previously, you do get the feeling that the mystery stacks could quite easily land on every reel and transform to produce a mesmerising win with their added presence in the bonus, and although this wasn’t the case for us we were at least excited enough to think that it might.
Time will ultimately tell on whether this slot, and the engine in general will succeed in the ultra competitive online slot market. Will it be a one hit wonder? or is the Splitz engine here to stay? We’re hoping for the latter and plenty more releases, but for now it’s a wait and see scenario.
