Their games always have a fantastic user interface, well-drawn graphics, and a solid ambient soundtrack which won’t get on your nerves after just a few minutes… together, that represents perfect presentation as far as I am concerned. Snake Arena – Dream Drop, to give the game its full title, is a flawless demonstration of this, so I have a feeling this is going to be a great game already! It’s a 30 fixed payline machine, with an RTP of 94%; this sounds extremely low for an online slot, but the missing 2.5% isn’t going into Relax’s coffers – this is a progressive jackpot game, which reduces the RTP as you are contributing to the progressives each time you spin. Snake Arena Dream Drop Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
I was quite confused by the “Snake Arena” part of the title when I first began to play Snake Arena online slot. Soon enough, I realized what it was all about – these are some friendly snakes thank god! You’ll see them crawl in from the edges of the reels… note that whilst the snakes are friendly to us, you might want to turn away when he wraps himself around one of our Knights… eek! Base Game & Modifiers
The base game takes place on an unusual 5×5 playfield. I was expecting an unusual payout mechanic or perhaps a gird slot type play style, but no – this is a typical slot with 30 pay lines which just happens to use a non-standard play area. Wins are awarded for hitting three or more symbols on a payline from left to right in very much the typical online style, so there are few surprises as far as base gameplay goes. Wild Chase Modifier
This mod can activate randomly at any time during the base game, converting between one and five of the reels into full stacks of wilds. Jackpot Spin Feature
The jackpot spin is another randomly activated base game feature, and it’s tough to say whether it should be classed as a modifier or a bonus round. Either way, you will see this feature pop up from time to time and it is the first step in getting yourself one of those progressive jackpots! You will need to accumulate five of the “DD” symbols to progress to the jackpot wheel. In my tests, this happened roughly 50% of the time, but the best thing is, if you do collect those five DD symbols you are guaranteed a jackpot – sadly, however, you can bet your life that 99% of the time you are going to end up with the smallest “Rapid” bonus!
Dream Drop Bonus
And here it is! The big one… once you make it to the Dream Drop bonus you will be confronted by a huge wheel with all of the jackpots shown in segments around its circumference. Here are the seed values for each of the jackpots:

A quick note on how progressive jackpot games work, the higher your stake, the better your chances are of triggering the jackpot spin feature and thus having a chance at winning a jackpot. If you are extremely unlucky and happen to win a jackpot right at the same time as another player, the one who hit the jackpot first will be awarded the displayed amount whilst the second player will only receive the seed amount shown above.
Snake Arena Dream Drop Slot Free Spins Feature
Scatter symbols? Pah, that’s old technology according to our friends over at Relax Gaming! To trigger the free spins bonus in their Snake Arena slot game, you will need a snake to contact a knight symbol. You have no control over this, of course, and I only saw it happen three times during testing… considering the number of spins I played, that seems a little bit less than the typical 1 in 150 that used to be the standard for hitting a bonus round. As ever, your mileage may vary.
Once you get into the free spin’s bonus, the snake will make a move towards the knight before every spin. If the snake makes it to the knight, it will eat the poor fellow before growing and a new free spin will start. Just like the old classic snake game on your mobile phone, if the snake becomes too long and crashed into itself, your bonus round will be over.
This is an original concept and I have to say I love it- why hasn’t anybody done this before? If your snake manages to fill the entirety of reels two through five, your bonus round will end… but don’t worry, you will also receive 1,000x your stake in compensation. I’d say that’s fair, wouldn’t you?

Superb! I loved playing this game, it feels completely fresh – people can keep on pumping out Megaways slots every month if they want, but sooner or later that bubble is going to pop, and people are going to search out new experiences in online slots.
