What is Monopoly Big Baller?
With over 300 versions of the board game Monopoly being created and over 250 million of these being sold worldwide, it’s safe to assume that at some point in time, you’ll have heard about this franchise and more than likely even played it. So it’s not going to come as any surprise that Monopoly Big Baller from live casino powerhouse Evolution Gaming is themed upon the famous board game that dates back to 1903. However, this wouldn’t be an Evolution release without them putting their unique stamp on it, so what can you expect once the game has loaded up?
If you’ve played Evolution’s Monopoly Live before, you’ll know they have already brought the iconic board game to life in a virtual world with its own city. Well, surrounding this city is a river, and it’s here where you’ll initially find the action taking place on Monopoly Big Baller. You might think that you’d be cruising on this body of water around the metropolis in a fancy, expensive yacht, but Evolution had other ideas, and the setting for the primary part of this live game takes us aboard a classy-looking 1920s riverboat. It’s here you’ll find the host or hostess of this game ready to entertain you as you place your bets, and it just wouldn’t be Monopoly without the legendary Mr Monopoly himself assisting in the action and cheering you along.

Gameplay & Features
Bingo Machine, Interface & User Experience
Monopoly Big Baller is set within a unique-looking riverboat theme, and the bingo machine is what delivers the game’s action! The game looks superb, and Evolution’s familiar-looking virtual world can be seen behind the bingo machine and presenter.
There are four main bingo cards available to purchase per round, alongside two additional bonus cards: 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls. Each card has 25 numbers, presented in a 5x5 grid, and for each game round, the presenter draws 20 balls from the bingo machine (which contains 60 balls numbered, you guessed it: 1-60).
Of the four bingo cards, there are two different styles in play. Firstly, there’s the Chance Card, which is given a multiplier in the middle. This means that any lines that are completed passing through the middle receive a multiplied payout. The second type is the Free Space card. The middle of this card has a free space, making it easier to form winning lines through it.
Once all the cards have received their numbers for the next round, an animated Mr. Monopoly appears and adds random multipliers and free spaces, potentially increasing your chances of winning and the amount you could end up banking at the end of the round.
More Interface Information
When you play Monopoly Big Baller, you can pick the type and number of bingo cards you want to play, choosing between the Chance and Free Space cards. There are also three types of multipliers. The first covers the whole card, the second is just one line, and the third is a single number.
The line multipliers can be worth up to 50x, and the lowest possible payout for a one-line win is 2x your bet. For the bonus round, you need three numbers to win the 3 Rolls bet. To win the 5 Rolls bet, you need four numbers. If you manage to get 3 and 5 Rolls at the same time, two bonus rounds are played.
How to Play Monopoly Big Baller
Monopoly Big Baller is super easy to get the hang of once you’ve played a round or two. Each game starts with a 12-second betting window, during which you’ll choose how many cards you want to play (up to four bingo cards and two optional bonus cards: 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls). You’ll also choose between the two card types: Chance Cards (which come with a guaranteed multiplier in the centre) and Free Space Cards (which have a free spot in the middle to help complete lines).
Once your bets have been placed, Mr. Monopoly springs into action and randomly adds multipliers and/or free spaces to your cards. Then, 20 balls are drawn from a 60-ball bingo machine. As numbers are called, they’re automatically dabbed on your cards, and if you manage to complete a vertical, horizontal, or diagonal line, you win!
If you’ve placed bets on the 3 Rolls or 5 Rolls bonus cards and hit the required numbers (three or four, respectively), you’ll enter the Monopoly board bonus round, details of which we’ll cover in the following section of this review.
Once all 20 balls have been drawn, the payouts for that round are tallied up, and any active multipliers are applied!
Bonus Round, Multipliers & Free Spaces
Multipliers
Multipliers in Monopoly Big Baller come in three flavours: Number, Line, and Global. Each has potential, though some are better than others:
- Number Multipliers (10x or 20x) are applied to specific numbers. If that number is part of a completed line, the multiplier is applied to that line’s win.
- Line Multipliers (20x or 50x) are tied to an entire line. If you complete that line, you get the multiplier. Plus, multipliers stack if you have more than one!
- Global Multipliers (2x or 3x) apply to the entire card. These are great, as they multiply all line wins on that card which includes other multipliers already in place.
The Chance cards always start with a multiplier in the centre, too, so lines that pass through the middle already have pretty decent win potential.
Free Spaces
Free Spaces are your secret weapon when it comes to completing lines. At the start of each round, Mr. Monopoly randomly adds Free Spaces to your cards, which function exactly the same as a number already drawn. This means they reduce the number of actual balls you need to draw to complete a line.
The Free Space cards come with a permanent one right in the middle (just like in traditional bingo), and Mr. Monopoly can drop additional Free Spaces onto both Free Space and Chance cards, too! Of course, the more Free Spaces you have, the better your odds of landing a win, especially on lines that pass through them.
Bonus Round
As you probably already know, the bonus round is the main appeal in Monopoly Big Baller, and it’s where the game’s real win potential is found, if luck’s on your side!
There are two types of bonus cards: 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls. To trigger them, you’ll need to land three or four numbers on their respective cards during the ball draw. Hit the required amount, and you’ll be taken to a new screen where you’ll find yourself plunged into a fully animated Monopoly board bonus game, complete with dice rolls and Mr. Monopoly walking around!
The bonus board is a 3D virtual version of the classic Monopoly board, the same one found in Evolution’s original Monopoly Live. Mr. Monopoly starts on GO, and two dice are rolled. He then moves the number of spaces shown. Each property square has a multiplier attached to it, and these are the amounts you can win. If you land on one, the value is added to your total win amount.
Now, if you pass GO, all future multipliers are doubled - and on the subject of doubles, if one is rolled, you can get an extra roll. Unfortunately, landing on the tax square will reduce your winnings by 10%-20%, and you’ll also find Chance and Community Chest tiles that can increase or decrease your total win!
Finally, just like in the real Monopoly, you can get sent to Jail. If that happens, you’ll need a double to escape.
Monopoly Big Baller Payouts, Probabilities & RTP
Monopoly Big Baller’s payouts are relatively simple, and while your bets are placed on a card, rather than an individual line, you still get paid for line wins. The win amounts vary depending on the multipliers in play (if any), although there are some limits to be aware of.
The minimum line payout on either type of card is 2x your total bet, while the maximum - on a Free Space Card - is 39:1. If you play the Chance card, the maximum payout is 199:1, and the 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls bonuses have a monetary win cap of £/€/$500,000.
We’ve summarised this briefly in the table below:
Bet Type | Payout |
Chance Card | 2:1 - 199:1 per line |
Free Space Card | 2:1 - 39:1 per line |
3 Rolls | Bonus |
5 Rolls | Bonus |
Streaming Quality
One thing Evolution always gets right is the production value, and Monopoly Big Baller is no exception. The game is streamed in full HD from a custom-built, riverboat-themed studio. Everything feels smooth, fast-paced, and immersive! You’ll notice the usual Evolution theme: professional presenters, slick animations, and crisp sound design.
Mr. Monopoly himself is fully animated and interacts with the game in real time, which is a pretty nice touch, and, naturally, the game is fully mobile-optimised, too, so you can enjoy playing from all of your mobile devices.
During our testing, lag was minimal, even on flaky connections, and Evolution’s servers and technological infrastructure are reliable enough to keep the game flowing smoothly!

Best Playing Strategies For Monopoly Big Baller
We all want to get the absolute best value for our deposits when playing live casino games, and that’s where trying to come up with a suitable strategy to implement in your gameplay can help. Listed below are some strategies that can be used on Monopoly Big Baller to try and make your cash last for as long as possible, and maybe they’ll help you hit a big win, too!
Double Up Strategy
More commonly known as the Martingale system, you can try the double-up strategy on Monopoly Big Baller if you’re feeling particularly brave. This one has a relatively basic and simple principle: you place your bets on the cards, and if you don’t win, you double the bets for the next round. Each time you lose, you continue to double the bet. You revert to your original starting bet sizes when you finally hit a win. See the example below.
- Bet 1: Total cost of bets is £/€0.60, and the outcome is a loss.
- Bet 2: Total cost of bets is £/€1.20, and the outcome is a loss.
- Bet 3: Total cost of bets is £/€2.40, and the outcome is a loss.
- Bet 4: Total cost of bets is £/€4.80, and the outcome is a loss.
- Bet 5: Total cost of bets is £/€9.60, and the outcome is a loss.
- Bet 6: Total cost of bets is £/€19.20, and the outcome is a win.
This is a very risky system to try out, and if you do attempt it, you should realise that you can deplete a bankroll in next to no time at all. You should also be aware that the game will have a maximum bet, often the most significant setback when using this method. Once you reach that limit, it will mean that you have suffered some pretty awful losses, with zero chance of recovering them anytime soon.
The Wait It Out Strategy
The wait it out strategy is my favourite for all live casino games with a bonus round, and it just so happens that you can use this method on Evolution’s Monopoly Big Baller. Counting the average number of games between the bonus rounds is key for making this strategy work for you.
Once you’re confident with a rough estimate of how many games you think will be played before the next bonus, you can start to bet when the game total gets around that figure. This is not a foolproof way to win, but the longer you can hold your bottle as it gets toward the average bonus figure, the more likely you’ll hit a bonus round within your deposit.

Bonus Card Bets Only
If you want to focus on the bonus feature only on Monopoly Big Baller Live, then the Bonus Card Bets only strategy is one that you should consider. As the title of this technique suggests, all bets you place on the game will be on the 3 and 5 rolls only card. Of course, you won’t top up your playing balance from the main game, but the trade-off is that all of your deposit amounts will be purely focused on triggering the feature and unlocking those big wins.
Low Volatile Strategy
If you want to get the absolute maximum play time from your deposit on Monopoly Big Baller, then the low volatile strategy is something you’ll seriously want to consider. The idea behind this method is to bet the minimum amounts on all regular and bonus cards. This will cost you a total of £/€0.60 per game, which means you’ll get to play a minimum of 83 rounds if you start with a £/€50 balance ( more if you land any line wins or bonus features )
The one thing that this strategy guarantees is game time. So, if you want to maximise your bankroll but are willing to sacrifice the chance of winning anything substantial, this is the right game plan for you.
Medium Volatile Strategy
You could adopt the medium volatile strategy to increase the risk slightly whilst you play. This method requires you to double or triple the bet size you made on each card in the lower volatile strategy. So if you’re using our example of a £/€50 starting balance, each game would cost you £/€1.20 – £/€1.80 to play. This will cut the number of rounds you can play in half or by two-thirds, so be aware of that factor.
Any wins you hit whilst using this method will potentially pay you a reasonable amount. So, although your game time could be reduced, the possibility of walking away with a profit is also increased.
High Volatile Strategy
If you’re on a roll, upping the ante and trying out the high volatile strategy could present you with big win opportunities. Applying this method to your play will require you to risk your total £/€50 budget in just three games, where placing bets of £/€2.70 on each card will result in a net spend of £/€16.20 per game. The payoff is that if you hit a decent win multiplier or the bonus game, the rewards could be pretty impressive.
We’d only suggest you try this method out if you have already won on the game or if your total playing balance exceeds the total bets required to complete the strategy in full.
Monopoly Big Baller Statistic Tracking
Monopoly Big Baller is built on randomness, like any bingo or wheel-based game. However, that hasn’t stopped players from searching for patterns using stat trackers. These tools aim to give you insights into how frequently bonus rounds or line completions happen over a long period of time. But do they help you win? Let's look into this in more detail.
Why Do Players Check Previous Monopoly Big Baller Results?
It’s human nature to seek patterns in gambling games to see if you can gain an edge. For example, if 3 Rolls hasn’t landed in 30 games, some players assume it’s "due." Or maybe 5 Rolls has come up a few times recently, and they figure it “might hit again.”
Sure, that kind of thinking feels logical, but the reality is it’s just another version of the gambler’s fallacy. Every game round in Monopoly Big Baller is entirely independent. Just because a bonus hasn’t landed in a while doesn’t mean it’s more likely to appear next. However, that doesn't mean you can't use historical data to help you decide what to bet on next.
Are There Any Benefits To Using a Live Monopoly Big Ball Tracker?
Well, yes and no. If you use them with the right mindset, they can be beneficial to certain players. Stat trackers won’t increase your odds, but they can help you understand long-term trends. For example, you might spot that a specific bonus typically lands once every 60–80 rounds, or that most 3 Rolls bonuses tend to pay under 15x unless hit with multipliers.
This kind of information won’t tell you when to bet, but it can help you manage expectations, adjust how much risk you want to take per round, and allow you to create a more suitable bankroll management strategy.
Just remember, however, all tracking data should be used for perspective only. They do not show you a prediction of which events are likely (or unlikely) to appear in future rounds.
What Do Monopoly Big Baller Trackers Tell You?
While Evolution doesn’t provide in-game stats tracking for Monopoly Big Baller, third-party tools and community-built trackers can still give you a bit of extra insight into how the game’s been performing over time. This includes information like:
- Spin history - showing which bonuses landed and how many lines were hit.
- Bonus frequency - showing how often 3 Rolls and 5 Rolls, or high-paying multipliers landed.
- Average bonus payouts - showing you the average amount each bonus round typically pays.
Pros
- Unique blend of live game show and bingo mechanics
- Monopoly Board bonus round
- Wide range of betting options
- Random multipliers and Free Spaces
- Win up to £/€/$500,000
Cons
- Bonus rounds - especially 5 Rolls -can be tough to land
- 3 Rolls bonuses can pay quite low
- Not as much “variety” compared to other games like Crazy Time
Monopoly Big Baller Review
Monopoly Big Baller is Evolution doing what they do best - taking a familiar concept, making it look great, and wrapping it all up with some highly unique, innovative twist! It’s a fast-paced, almost chaotic game, and some great win potential is available if you get lucky with bonus rounds or multipliers!
Is it for everyone? Probably not. If you’re looking for a consistent, low-variance game, you might find Monopoly Big Baller a bit too volatile at times. If, however, you’re the type of player who enjoys high-risk, high-reward live dealer games, gets a thrill out of the Monopoly bonus round from Monopoly Live, or one who wants to check out something totally different... Well, it’s definitely worth a few rounds!
