So, Wildman is clearly a superhero themed slot, but this isn’t a branded slot machine – Wildman is a whole new character. Still, the styling of the title of the game is clearly meant to resemble the Marvel logo, and the character himself resembles a Detective Comics or Marvel hero, too. The symbols on the reels aren’t really superhero-inspired, however – it’s just gems, which seems like quite a strange dichotomy to me. The game has a subtitle – “The Search for the Super Orb!” – which I suspect links in with the aforementioned Super Fever Progressive Feature. Do you have what it takes to locate the super orb? As for me, that would very much depend on how much you will pay me to look for it! So, let’s find out!

The red gem is the highest-paying symbol, worth 1,000x the current bet for the maximum combination of 25 or more adjacent symbols. In contrast, more reasonable numbers of symbols, such as 15-19 or 9-11, are worth 50x or 12.5x, respectively. Let’s give the same totals for each of the other symbols on the paytable – the purple gem is worth 500x/25x/7.5, followed by the green at 300x/15x/3.75x. The cyan triangle is worth 150x/10x/2.5x; the orange hexagon pays 100x/3.75x/2x, then the pink pentagon at 75x/5x/1.5x, and finally, the blue gem with a value of 50x/3.75x/1x. The wild has no special payout of its own, and there are no scatters to help boost things either, but hey – those numbers on the paytable aren’t bad to start with. The only trouble is that I never saw anything close to 25 adjacent symbols in the entirety of the time I was testing this slot.

Base Game & Modifiers

The base game takes place on an enormous 8×8 grid with a total of 64 positions, making it relatively easy to win several times from a single paid spin. Typically, you may find yourself hitting two or three combinations of ten symbols if you are lucky, but combinations any larger than this are much rarer.

Whenever a win occurs, including a symbol with a coloured marking surrounding it, the corresponding feature will be enabled after the symbols are removed from the playfield. There are five of these features, detailed below:

Blue: Time Rewind Modifier: The screen is cleared of all symbols, and a brand-new set of symbols will fall onto the screen.

Pink: Wild Illusion Modifier: All instances of one random symbol present on the screen will be transformed into wilds.

Yellow: Double Boost Modifier: Random blocks of 2×2 matching symbols will be added to the screen, enhancing your chances of hitting bigger wins on the subsequent tumble.

Red: Colossal Symbol Modifier: A random block of 3×3, 4×4, or 5×5 matching symbols will be added to a random location on the screen.

Green: Wild Finish Modifier: Between five and 15 wild symbols are added to the screen in random positions.

Note that if multiple symbols with coloured markings form part of winning combinations on a single spin, then the modifiers will be evaluated in the following order: Time Rewind, Wild Illusion, Double Boost, Colossal Symbol, Wild Finish.

Wildman Super Bonanza Slot Bonus Features

Each time that a winning combination is removed from the reels, the number of symbols which formed that combination will be added to the SUPER FEVER meter. When a certain number of symbols is reached, the SUPER FEVER feature will be triggered. This meter is reset in between paid spins.

Super Fever Progressive Feature

There are five levels to this feature:

114 Symbols – Level One
116 Symbols – Level Two + 4x Multiplier
120 Symbols – Level Three + 6x Multiplier
