Slot Overview
Wild Woof Returns is a new Gaming Corps release that acts as a sequel to the original Wild Woof online slot. The outlaw doggie is back, bigger and better than ever, and you’ll look forward to Stacked Wild Multipliers, Mystery Symbols, and multiple Free Spins rounds. With a maximum win potential of up to 10,000x, is this FINALLY a sequel that delivers? The Demoslot team investigates.
Theme & Design
Gaming Corp’s original Wild Woof did fairly well, but it never reached the levels of success of other dog games, like The Dog House or Hot Dog Heist. However, the studio looks eager to change that, and Wild Woof Returns may well just be the game to do it!
The slot leans quite heavily into a cartoon-style Wild West theme, and you’ll see the bandit dog himself holding two revolvers. To our amusement, on the game’s splash loading screen, there’s a well-designed silhouette background, and on the right-hand side of the screen, you can see the doggie riding a horse, with a classic bandit hat on!
Visually, it looks pretty good, and above the reels you’ll also see four wanted posters. These come into play later on, and we’ll walk you through what they are and how they work shortly.

Wild Woof Returns Gameplay & Bonus Features
Wild Woof Returns uses a six-reel layout arranged as 3-4-4-4-4-3, with an additional character row sitting above the middle four reels. The game operates on a ways-to-win system, offering 2,304 ways in the base game and expanding to 4,096 ways during certain bonus rounds. You can bet between €2 and €20 per spin, and the game’s RTP is fixed at 95.82%.
Now, the core base game mechanic is the Wild Characters, and these land on reels 2-5. These Wilds carry multipliers of 2x, 3x, 4x, or 5x, and when they land, and form part of a win, the sum of all multipliers on screen is applied to the final win for that spin.
You can also land Mystery symbols on any spin. They appear both as single-position symbols and stacked. When they land, all Mystery symbols in view transform into the same regular-paying symbol.
Wild Woof Returns also contains two Free Spins features. The Wanted Woof Free Spins is triggered by landing three Bonus Scatters on reels 2, 3, 4, and 5, and you’ll then receive 7 free games. During this bonus round, Wild Multipliers are more frequent and always begin at 2x. The Wild Multipliers are persistent, too. Landing all four Wild Characters in view on the same spin awards +3 free games, too.
Dog or Wild Free Spins are triggered by landing four Bonus Scatters and award 8 free games. This version of the bonus round uses expanded reels with 4-4-4-4-4 in the centre, and it’s here that there are 4,096 ways to win. Again, the Wild Multiplier mechanic is in play, and landing all four Wild Characters in view on the same spin awards +4 free games.
Bonus Buy & Hot Bet
Wild Woof Returns includes two optional paid features. The Bonus Buy allows direct access to Wanted Woof Free Spins for 100x your current bet, or Dog or Wild Free Spins for 250x the bet. Additionally, the Hot Bet ante bet option increases your stake by 1.5x while giving you a doubled chance of landing the Free Spins bonuses naturally.
Pros
- Solid maximum win potential of 10,000x.
- Persistent and additive Wild Multipliers during the Free Spins.
- Two different Free Spins modes.
Cons
- VERY high maximum bet of €2.
- Below-average RTP of 95.82%.
- To many players, it will LOOK like a Megaways game
Wild Woof Returns Slot Review Final Thoughts
We’ll be honest, we weren’t really familiar with the original Wild Woof slot, and that’s never a good thing, considering we write hundreds of slot reviews every month! Still, Wild Woof Returns looks to be a fairly decent release from Gaming Corps, and it’s clear the studio is managing to maintain the high new levels of quality they started displaying a couple of years ago.
Wild Woof Returns has quite a lot going on, from Wild Multipliers, Expanding Reels to two different Free Spins bonuses, and with a maximum win potential of up to 10,000x, it’s a solid little slot in our eyes.
Yes, there’s nothing overly new or innovative here, and yes, it does feel quite similar to a couple of Pragmatic Play's games, like Wild West Gold, but we feel that Gaming Corps has developed the game in a unique-enough way, and we’ll probably give this a try for ourselves once it’s released!
Yes, the RTP is very slightly below average at 95.82%, but that’s pretty much the only issue we have with the game; other than that, Wild Woof Returns looks like a fun, entertaining, and action-packed slot!
