Game Overview
Whilst I’m not a big fan of going to the zoo at all, on the odd occasion I have been, I am always petrified when I get to the tiger enclosure, especially if it’s an open-air one. So, the thought of encountering one of these beasts in the wild would send my knees to jelly, and to be fair, that would probably be the last thing I remembered before becoming its next meal. Phew, thankfully in today’s review I get to sit behind my screen well away from this apex predator as I take a look at the BGaming slot Wild Tiger 2, a 5-reel game with up to 100 paylines, a Hold & Win bonus round, and a maximum win of 5,000x the bet.
Theme & Design
Whilst there were a number of directions BGaming could have chosen to go with regards to the theme of Wild Tiger 2, it is a sequel after all, so it makes sense that it follows the path of the original, meaning that we’re being jetted off to the East, where an Asian martial art design has been used, and to be fair to BGaming, although this might not be everyone’s cup of tea, they have presented it well, and the game does look nice.
It’s time for my recommendations of similar games now, and with an Asian tiger theme, that can only lead me to suggest a few spins on our Fortune Tiger demo from PG Soft. Alternatively, if you want to play the same game, more or less, from another tier one studio, then the Tigre Sortudo demo, developed by Pragmatic Play is another good option

Wild Tiger 2 Gameplay & Features
BGaming’s Wild Tiger 2 is a 5-reel, 4-row online slot with variable paylines of up to 100 and a high return to player percentage of 97%. The game features a good selection of betting options, with the minimum stake starting at €0.20 a spin and reaching a maximum of €50. However, it should be noted that to play the max of 100 lines, it will cost you a minimum of €1 a spin.
It’s bonus time now, and we’ll start with the base game and the full reel wild. This will be triggered when a tiger symbol appears in any position, expanding the full length of the reel and improving your chances of hitting a winning combo, especially if you’re playing the maximum number of paylines.
The main feature of Wild Tiger 2 is a Hold & Win bonus, activated when 6 or more of the money symbols land within the playfield. Before the feature begins, three multiplier spots, of up to 15x in value, will be added to random positions on the reels. You’ll then begin with three respins, and any new symbols that land will replenish your spin count back to 3. Furthermore, any cash values that land on the multiplier spots will have their values multiplied by that amount. Additionally, each time a cash symbol lands, it will move you one place up the progress bar. If 15 symbols hit, your total win will be multiplied by x2, and if 20 hit, it will be multiplied by x3.
Bonus Buy
Those who wish to bypass the base game and head straight into the feature, can use the bonus buy option at a cost of 60x the base bet.
Pros
- Cheap bonus buy cost of 60x the bet.
- Wins can be multiplied by up to 3x in the feature.
- High RTP of 97%.
Cons
- There are so many Hold & Win games already to choose from.
- The Asian theme is very generic.
Wild Tiger 2 Slot Review Final Thoughts
Wild Tiger 2 might be an improvement on the original game with regard to its graphics and max win, but it's still relatively boring and generic to play in my opinion. Your views might differ, so give our free demo slot a try and see what you think.
