Game Overview
Slot studio ELK Studios turns on the sirens and sends its most famous bull back into action with Toro 911, a highly volatile spin-off that does away with the streets of Spain for neon-lit chaos instead! With a maximum win potential of 10,000x, walking wilds and a unique Clean the Streets feature, find out everything you need to know about the game right here in this review!
Theme & Design
Wild Toro was released in 2016, and it quickly became one of Elk Studios’ most popular releases. It was followed up with Wild Toro 2, and the friendly bull has since made appearances in a couple of later releases, too, like Book of Toro.
Now, we like how Toro 911 does away with the look and feel of the original for example; instead of the bright plazas, Toro 911 drops you into a crime-ridden city drowning in corruption. Graffiti, flickering lights, and burning cars replace the bullring scenery, and you’ll now see the horned hero proudly wearing a police badge!

Toro 911 Gameplay & Bonus Features
The action unfolds on a 5×7 grid with 421 ways to win. You can play the game from between €0.20 and €100 per spin. Unfortunately, in keeping with many Elk Studios recent releases Toro 911 offers a below-average RTP of just 94%.
At the centre of everything are three characters: Toro, Diaz, and his Matador friends, and each of them has a core feature to play in the slot’s mechanics.
Toro, the walking wilds, appears only on the rightmost reel, moving leftward with each respin until he exits the grid. He leaves Wilds behind wherever he walks, and if he crosses an existing Wild, it upgrades into a 2x multiplier.
Diaz is the game’s sticky wild, and when he lands, he stays locked in place until he gets knocked out by Toro. When he’s active, he boosts the multiplier value of all of the Matadors spawned during the re-spins. Finally, there’s the Matador himself, the wild multiplier. Each Matador carries at least a 2x multiplier, and landing one awards a respin. If more than one remains, respins continue until all are gone.
When Toro and one or more Matadors appear (but no Diaz), Toro charges each Matador off the screen, adding their multiplier to his own and turning paths into stacked wilds, just like in the original.
The game’s “super feature”, if you like, is Clean the Streets, and it’s triggered by landing Toro and Diaz together. Diaz then spawns Matadors before Toro runs into them through them one-by-one, upgrading them into wilds and adding multipliers, before finally charging at Diaz himself. Diaz has a change to avoid this charge – and reappear elsewhere – or get knocked out, at which point the feature ends.
X-iter Bonus Buys
ELK’s signature X-iter system is found in Toro 911, and it allows you to buy instant entry into the bonuses and features, or boost the base game mechanics:
- Feature Hunt: Costs 2.5x your bet, and makes it 3x more likely to trigger the Toro features.
- Elevated Hunt: Costs 5x your bet, and makes it 5x more likely to trigger the Toro features.
- Diaz Drop: Costs 10x your bet and guarantees a Diaz symbol on each spin.
- Feature Spins: Costs 25x your bet and guarantees Toro Goes Wild.
- Super Feature Spin: Costs 100x your bet and triggers the Clean the Streets bonus.
Pros
- Win up to 10,000x.
- Plenty of X-iter bonus buy options.
- Multiple wild features combined with new Toro mechanics.
Cons
- Below-average RTP of 94%.
- No traditional free spins bonus round.
- Like many Elk Studios slots, the bonus rounds can feel quite “streaky”
Toro 911 Slot Review Final Thoughts
Here at Demoslot, we’ve always been a fan of Elk Studios, and while their games have attracted criticism for their maths models in the past, today, they tend to do a much better job. Their games always look great, as is the case with Toro 911, and we’re always a sucker for storyline-based slots with recurring characters.
Toro 911 is a fast-paced game packed with volatility and energy, and it’s perfect for those who’re already familiar with the series and want to enjoy the next instalment. Sure, it may not offer groundbreaking mechanics, but Elk Studios has done enough, we feel, to make sure it’s unique enough, and the addition of the Clean the Streets feature makes things exciting, even if it is hard to trigger naturally.
