It turns out that a Torii is a traditional Japanese gate most commonly found at the entrance of a Shinto shrine, if you must know, and symbolically marks the transition from the mundane to the sacred.
The first appearances of Torii gates in Japan can be reliably pinpointed to the mid-Heian period, as they are mentioned in ancient scrolls dating back to the year 922AD. As such, the graphical styling of this machine features a gate along with five multipliers positioned above columns one and six, along with three more positioned in between the remaining four columns. This multiplier ladder constitutes payway wins, and symbols next to a winning symbol will be destroyed, and new symbols will drop down to fill the voids. The multipliers will double when all stone blocks are destroyed. Red stone blocks contain multiplier boosters of up to 3x, green stone blocks contain spin savers, which will generate a new spin when no wins are formed from existing stone blocks, and eight free spins are awarded when three bonus symbols land. Torii Tumble Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Relax has been making waves in the slots industry with their Sloth Tumble, Temple Tumble Megaways, and Cluster Tumble games in recent months, but Torii Tumble could well be the best one yet – perhaps even surpassing their recent TNT Tumble Dream Drop release that received an 8.4 rating when we reviewed it here at Demoslot. But how much can you win? There are two high-paying symbols, a samurai paying 1x and a demon paying 0.6x for a six of a kind pay way, but remember that both those numbers can be multiplied by 5x as standard or many times more than that if you can hit the right combinations of symbol-boosting multiplier stones. There are three more medium-paying symbols coloured red, green, and purple, all of which share equal returns of 0.6x for all six symbols, whilst the four low-paying royals all share equal returns of 0.4x each. As for the wilds, those appear on reels 2-6 only, so they have no payout of their own, but they do get boosted by the multipliers shown along the top of the Torii gate, and so they are all very valuable, all on their own.
How much can you bet? €0.20 at the minimum, or €50.00 at the most – there’s no bonus bet, I’m afraid, but those numbers are still plenty enough if you can boost them sufficiently with the multiplier gates.
Base Game & Modifiers
It’s time to talk about the base game – this uses a 6×6 configuration, but only five multipliers are present across the top of the game’s Torii gates. Matching symbols in any position on adjacent reels starting from the leftmost reel will constitute a payway win. The multiplier ladder increases one step after every win, resetting back to the start of the ladder when each new round begins.
Multiplier Boosters
Several special symbols are contained within the reels, starting with the multiplier boosters. These special red stones contain multiplier boosters that can add +1, +2, or +3 multipliers to every multiplier ladder value shown across the top of the Torii gate.

Green special stone blocks contain spin savers – once no more wins are formed, all symbols are removed, and new ones fall in for a new chance to win.

Final Thoughts
Another addition to the tumble franchise, but it certainly isn’t perfect – I’d rather play Temple Tumble Megaways personally. Still, each to their own, I guess, and this may turn out to be your favourite slot in the series so far.
