Slot Overview
Top Cat Dining for Dollars is Blueprint Gaming’s latest release in its Top Cat series of games, but is this a case of too much of a good thing becoming a bad thing? Well, with three separate bonus pots, jackpot symbols, and an added Express Bet option, Blueprint is trying its best to say otherwise. But a maximum win potential of just 2,500x + an ultra-low RTP of 93.50% gives us room for pause. So, let’s see what the Demoslot team found during their review.
Gameplay & Bonus Features
Top Cat Dining for Dollars is played on a 5-reel, 3-row layout and pays from left to right, and you’ll find ten fixed paylines in play at all times. You can bet from €0.10 to €100 per spin, and the game’s RTP is 93.5%.
The base game centres on a Collect Feature, and you’ll notice the collect symbol is active on reel 1, while cash prize and jackpot prize symbols appear on reels 2 to 5. When the collect symbol lands alongside those prize symbols, it collects them all, and it can also (randomly) apply a multiplier of up to 5x, too.
There are also five Alley Action modifiers present, and these can trigger randomly on any spin. They include Fire Hydrant Riches, which guarantees the collect symbol on reel 1 and can upgrade reels 2 to 5 to cash and jackpot symbols only, Bonus Boost for extra bonus symbols, Sweet Swap for random wild upgrades, and Purrfect Plan to add more cash prize symbols and guarantee a collect win.
You’ll also see the three coloured pots above the reels, and coloured bonus symbols fill their corresponding pot. These features are then randomly triggered, and when they do, the respective feature triggers: Building Cash, Bonus Spins, and Alleyway Dash.
Building Cash is played on a new 5×5 bonus reel set and awards 5 spins, and a giant 2×2 collect symbol now appears. Bonus Spins awards 10 spins, and during the feature, bonus symbols only appear on reels 2 to 5, while the collect symbol is guaranteed to expand and award a multiplier of up to x5 to standard cash prizes before values are collected. Finally, there’s Alleyway Dash, which is split into two parts. First, you play a multiplier trail, and this is followed by a Tip Top Money mechanic.
Express Bet
Top Cat Dining for Dollars includes Express Bet, which can be activated during the base game. Doing so costs an extra 0.5x per spin. In doing so, you have an “increased chance of triggering the bonus”, whatever that means.

Theme & Design
Top Cat Dining for Dollars is pretty distinctive, but, like pretty much all of Blueprint Gaming’s slots using the coloured pot-based mechanic, it looks a little small when played on a big screen, and if you fell in love with the original Top Cat, you may find yourself disappointed here.
Now, this isn’t the first spinoff from Blueprint; we also saw releases like Top Cat Most Wanted, but the thing is, nothing has performed anywhere near as well as the original, and, at this point, it’s a little unclear why the game developer continues to push out new spinoffs when it’s clear players don’t really want them.
Pros
- Three bonus pots available
- Building Cash is an interesting feature, at least
- A great theme (albeit overdone)
Cons
- Very low RTP of 93.50%
- Max win potential is just 2,500x
- Feels like Blueprint Gaming is “milking” the series
Final Thoughts
Top Cat Dining for Dollars may not be up everyone’s street, and we think there is an argument to be made that Blueprint Gaming is just milking the series a little bit now. The original Top Cat remains a classic (and one of our favourite games), but all these spinoffs and sequels, well, they’re a little underwhelming in our opinion.
Yes, there are a lot of bonuses and features here, but that’s the norm for pretty much any Blueprint Gaming slot today, and we just feel that the game developer is choosing to re-skin old themes/mechanics rather than innovating and doing something new.
There’s also no getting away from the fact that, in 2026, a maximum win potential of 2,500x, with an RTP of 93.50% is just really low, and because of this, combined with the issues we said above - Top Cat Dining for Dollars isn’t a game for us, and we’d struggle to recommend it, to be honest.
