Theme & Design

NowNowGaming is still a relatively new studio within iGaming that operates through Hacksaw Gaming and their OpenRGS platform, so it might be a case of you not really being aware of too much of their work. However, despite being a new kid on the block, the developer has made a reasonable job of Through The Fire, whereby the game looks good, with the slot designed around a horror-style theme and set in a misty graveyard.

Through The Fire Gameplay & Features

Through the Fire has quite a lot to offer when it comes to bonuses and features. Firstly, there’s the Wild Wolf Battle mechanic. Whenever a Battle Symbol lands together with at least one Man or Lady symbol on the grid, this feature is triggered. Each Lady or Man symbol in view then battles each other, with two possible outcomes.

If the Wolf loses, the Lady or Man symbol stays unchanged and acts as a normal symbol. If the Wolf wins, the Lady or Man symbol transforms into a Wild Wolf that locks in place for the remainder of the feature.

Any Sticky Wolf symbol that’s created during a battle can come with a random multiplier, between 1x and 500x. Now, also worth noting is that during the Wild Wolf battles, all multipliers are first added to the multiplier meter. Once a multiplier has been collected, the wild remains locked on the reels – but without its multiplier.

Landing 3+ scatter symbols in view triggers the game’s main bonus round, and this awards you 10, 15, or 20 free spins. During the bonus round, the multiplier meter does not reset between spins.
