The main feature on The Crime File is built around expanding wilds and the total multiplier bar.

When a wild lands, it can expand upwards to the top of the reel, either because there is already a win on screen or because the expansion would create one. Once it expands, every covered position acts as a wild.

Each expanded wild also reveals a multiplier, with bigger values possible when the wild covers more of the reel. These multipliers are added to the Total Multiplier Bar, and once the spin has finished, the final combined multiplier is applied to the total win. If more than one Wild expands on the same spin, all of their multiplier values are added together before the win is paid.

The Capture

The Capture feature focuses on the high-paying symbols. These symbols can land as normal 1×1 icons or appear in stacks. When four matching high-value symbols land consecutively on the same reel, they merge into a full 1×4 stacked symbol.

On any winning spin, a full high-value stack awards its own multiplier to the total win, even if that stack is not directly part of the winning combination. These multipliers can range from x2 to x10, and if more than one full stack appears, their values are added together.

If wild multipliers and high-value stack multipliers both appear on the same spin, everything is combined in the Total Multiplier Bar and applied to the final payout.

Interrogation Free Spins Bonus

The bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4 or 5 scatter symbols, awarding 10, 15 or 20 free spins.

During the feature, the same base game mechanics remain active, but Wilds become stronger. Any wild that expands will always cover the full reel, giving access to the highest multiplier range more often. High-value stacked symbols still work in the same way as the base game, adding their own multipliers when they appear on winning spins.
