Visually, it’s definitely not bad, and the game’s animations are clean, colours are bright, and the festive theme is pretty easy on the eyes. However, as is so often the case with the studio’s games, once you dig a bit deeper, things get slightly less impressive, as you’ll see in the following section.

Sweet Crumbles Holiday Edition is designed around a 6×5 grid layout. There are no paylines, as a scatter pays mechanic is used. To form a win, you need to land 8+ matching symbols anywhere in view. You can spin the reels for stakes between €0.50 and €750 per spin, and the game’s RTP is slightly below average at 95.31%.

Now, Sweet Crumbles Holiday Edition uses a cascading reels mechanic, so any time you do manage to form a win, the symbols involved disappear from the reels. New ones drop down to take their place, and this process continues for as long as new wins are formed.

You’ll also notice that sometimes, multiplier symbols can land. When they do, the multiplier value displayed is added to the total at the bottom of the screen. The total multiplier is then applied against the total win from all cascades from that spin.

Now, there are two types of features in Sweet Crumbles Holiday Edition, and the first is triggered when the BOOM Champagne Bottle lands. When it does, it removes either a row or reel of symbols and allows new ones to drop down to take their place.
