How to Play Super Ace & Game Overview

Wins are formed when at least three matching symbols land on adjacent reels from the left. There’s no difference between the regular and golden variety of this or any other symbol, and you’ll receive 2.5x your total bet back for a full payway of five of a kind. Five Kings will net you a return of 2x the current stake, whilst the Queens pay 1.5x, and the Jacks offer even money. The low-paying symbols also feature playing card designs, but they only show a suit without a value; the spades and hearts are worth 0.5x for a five of a kind combination, whilst the diamonds and clubs only pay half as much at 0.25x each. Whilst these wins don’t seem all that remarkable, keep in mind that there are 1,024 payways, all symbols appear in stacks, and you can also reach a multiplier of 5x quite easily, even during the base game.

Joker Symbol

These symbols do not appear on the reels as standard and can only be created by hitting winning combinations that include golden cards – see above for details. There are two types of joker symbols, imaginatively named the “big joker card” and “little joker card”. A “big joker card” will replace up to four symbols with wilds, whilst its younger cousin will only transform its position into a wild symbol.

Combo Multiplier

After winning combinations have been paid out during play, your current multiplier value will be increased. You can keep track of the current multiplier by looking at the indicator displayed above the main reel set; the maximum value that can be reached during the base game is x5, and the multiplier is reset in between each round.

Landing three or more scatter symbols will trigger the free spins feature. Unfortunately, it’s not clear if there is any benefit to hitting more than three scatters – there’s no cash prize paid for these combinations, and despite spending some time trying, I wasn’t able to hit a four-scatter (or higher) trigger to find out if there was any benefit that wasn’t mentioned on the game’s paytable.

Free Spins Feature

The rules of the free spins feature remain the same as the base game, with one key difference: the multipliers available in this mode are doubled compared to those available during the base game. This means that even your first win from a free spin will have a 2x multiplier applied to it, whilst subsequent wins will benefit from 4x, 6x, and even a 10x multiplier from your fourth win onwards.

You can also re-trigger the free games by hitting another three scatters whilst the bonus round is in play. This will add five free spins to your remaining counter, and there is no limit to the number of re-triggers that can be won.
