Slot Overview
SugarVille is another EGT slot that’s based around a cluster pays mechanic, and the action unfolds on a giant 7×7 grid, with toppling reels, position-based multipliers that can reach up to 128x, free spins, a bonus buy option, and the Clover Chance four-tier progressive jackpot hovering above it all. It’s another candy-inspired release, but does it hold up to Demoslot’s testing? Let’s find out.
Gameplay & Bonus Features
SugarVille plays on a 7×7 cluster pays grid, where groups of five or more matching symbols anywhere on the board trigger a win. Those symbols then disappear and new ones topple in from above, and this process repeats until no new clusters form. Now, there’s also a multiplier mechanic in play, and each time a symbol explodes from a winning cluster, its grid position is marked, and subsequent hits to that same position increase the multiplier there. The values double with each hit: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x, 32x, 64x, and up to 128x at the top end.
The game is available in three RTP configurations: 95.80%, 96.20%, and 96.50%. You can bet from €0.20 to €40 per spin. The game’s main bonus round is triggered by landing 3+ Scatter symbols in view, which triggers the Free Spins. You then win between 12 and 30 Free Spins, and during the bonus, marked multipliers don’t reset between spins, making the latter stages of the feature the most important ones.
SugarVille also contains a Bonus Buy mechanic that costs 100x for direct entry into the Free Spins bonus, with a random number of starting Scatter symbols. You can also activate x2 Chance in the base game, increasing your stake by 20% for a 2x chance of landing the feature naturally.
The Clover Chance progressive jackpots are also in play here. This feature, triggered randomly, gives you a shot of winning one of the four progressive jackpots, which is done by matching three identical symbols corresponding to a jackpot value.

Theme & Design
By now, sweet-inspired video slots are getting all the more common: Pragmatic Play really kicked things off with their Sugar Rush and Sweet Bonanza games, but even before then, slots providers have, for some reason, always loved to use candies in their games.
SugarVille looks very much like it “fits in” within this category, and you’ll see the reels set atop a crazy candy-filled landscape, with pink lollipops and swirling sweets visible either side of the reels. It’s chaotic, yes, but the theme is well-designed, and there’s a subtle yet enticing audio soundtrack accompanying each spin, too.
Pros
- Bonus Buy + x2 Chance options available
- Persistent multiplier frames during the Free Spins
- Clover Chance progressive jackpots available
Cons
- Very similar to Sugar Rush
- No Super Free Spins Bonus Buy
- Max win is capped at 5,000x
Final Thoughts
SugarVille is, clearly, “inspired” by Pragmatic Play's Sugar Rush, but, as we find ourselves saying in a lot of EGT reviews, the studio has, in our opinion, done enough to make the game different enough that it doesn’t feel like a total clone.
Most notable is the fact that EGT’s iconic Clover Chance jackpots are built into the game, and that means you have a shot at winning one of the game’s four progressive jackpots on any spin.
Yes, the maximum win potential is a bit on the low side at 5,000x, but aside from this, SugarVille is a pretty solid release. It looks great, the bonus rounds are fun, and when the multipliers start creeping high enough, it gets pretty darn exciting, too!
