Sugar Rush Super Scatter is the latest addition to the series, and visually it’s almost identical to the original. You’ll see the reels set in some kind of sweet-themed fantasy world, with hills made of lollipops and sweets visible behind the reels!

Sugar Rush Super Scatter operates on a 7-reel, 7-row grid with a cluster pays mechanic, where wins are formed by connecting five or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid. You can bet between €0.20 and €240, and the game’s default RTP sits at 96.58%, although lower RTP versions are also available.
Like the original, winning clusters trigger a tumble mechanic, and this sees winning symbols removed from the reels and new ones dropping down to take their place.
Now, it’s the multiplier spot system that offers the game’s win potential, and when a symbol explodes as part of a win, its position becomes highlighted. If another win lands on that same position, a multiplier is applied, starting at 2x and doubling with each subsequent hit, up to a maximum of 1,024x. These multipliers are then applied to the total win before resetting before the next spin.
Landing 4+ scatter symbols triggers the free spins bonus round. The sole difference here is that the multiplier spots do not reset between spins, making the latter stages of the feature the most packed with potential.
Finally, there’s the Super Scatter mechanic. Scatter and Super Scatter symbols can land anywhere on the grid. Super Scatters substitute for standard Scatters, and landing 3 or more in view awards instant cash prizes, ranging from 100x up to 50,000x!
Bonus Buy & Special Bets
Sugar Rush Super Scatter contains two Bonus Buy options and three Special Bets. You can buy instant entry into the free spins for 100x or pay 500x for Super Free Spins, which starts you with a 2x multiplier on all grid positions.

Sugar Rush Super Scatter doesn’t reinvent the wheel, but it doesn’t need to. Instead, it builds on what already worked in the original Sugar Rush game, while bringing in the addition of the Super Scatter mechanic, which is something we’ve seen Pragmatic Play experimenting with in a few of their recent games.
The fact that Sugar Rush Super Scatter offers a maximum win potential of up to 50,000x is definitely going to help the game appeal to a certain demographic of players. But be warned, this increased win potential does come with increased volatility.
It’s essentially the original Sugar Rush with a higher maximum win potential and slightly more volatility, but we do like the addition of the Special Bets, as these offer something quite different, even if they are pretty expensive.
So, on the whole, Sugar Rush Super Scatter isn’t a game that shows off a new theme or anything like that, but it does take one of Pragmatic Play’s most successful releases, adds in the Super Scatter mechanic + some Special Bets, and presents it in a way that feels familiar. I think this game is very good, but when you buy the super version it’s more difficult than the normal 1000 version, almost 10 times more to buy, but it still can’t explode in popularity.
It is no different from the 1000 version, only with the addition of super spin and super scatter.
