Slot Overview

Casino game provider Shady Lady is back with another release, and this one is Suck: a bold, dark-humoured scatter pays game that combines a disgusting diner with huge multipliers and layered bonuses. The game’s played on a 5×5 grid and features Cascading Wins, Hot-Sauce Multipliers, Free Spins, and a maximum win potential of 20,000x. Is this outrageous-looking game any good? Let’s find out.

Theme & Design

Shady Lady is no stranger to controversial, dark themes, and Suck is just another reminder that this studio, and its employees, have clearly got some things… going on! Previous releases like Devil’s Finger and Laced have done a pretty good job of showing that the studio is… unconventional, and that vibe doesn’t disappear here!

Suck itself leans quite heavily into grotesque cartoon excess, and you’ll see a dirty, grimy late-night diner covered in greasy burgers, hot sauce bottles, and some pretty unsettling-looking characters!

You’ll also see a giant burger symbol, and this, when it lands, can expand up to 5×5 to cover the entire grid! It’s a decent-looking slot, but be warned: if you’re used to games from providers like NetEnt and Microgaming, Suck may well come as a shock to you!

Suck Gameplay & Bonus Features

Suck is played on a 5×5 grid using a scatter-pays system, and this means that wins are formed by landing 8+ matching symbols anywhere on the grid. Bets range from €0.10 to €50.00 per spin. The game runs at a base RTP of 96.1%. Winning symbols are removed, allowing remaining symbols to fall and new ones to cascade into place until no further wins are available.

There’s a lot going on, like in most Shady Lady releases, and the core base game mechanic is the Giant Burger symbol. When it lands, it can appear in sizes from 2×2 up to 5×5, and it then reveals a normal-paying symbol. It can also reveal hot sauce bottles, which then drop onto the grid or appear behind if it’s a 5×5 size. When no more wins occur after a cascade, all hot sauce bottles explode. These positions then contain multipliers or are empty.

Empty positions are removed to trigger additional cascades, while multiplier values are collected at the end of the spin, added together, and applied to the total win of the round. Bottles that fail to explode can also reactivate later if new cascades occur.

Landing 3 Scatter symbols triggers the Bonus with 6 free spins, during which the LipoSuck Pro Pump becomes active. After each free spin, a gauge determines whether the pump activates. When triggered, the pump selects one of four levels, each applying a multiplier to that spin’s win.

These levels can be upgraded via multiplier upgrade symbols, increasing values by between 2x and 5x. During the feature you can land special bonus-only symbols, too, including Extra Spin symbols, which add extra free games, and Gauge Upgrade symbols, which increase the activation area of the pump gauge.

There’s also a Super Bonus, triggered by landing 4 Scatters, that awards 8 Free Spins. This mode follows the same structure as the regular bonus but with higher multiplier caps and improved gauge persistence, which makes it easier to carry upgrades over between spins.

Boosters, Bonus Buys, Highlight Reels, and Loot Boxes

Like all Shady Lady releases, Suck includes a tonne of feature buy options. The standard Bonus Buy costs 79x the base bet, while the Super Bonus Buy is priced at 292x. You can also buy Bronze, Silver, and Gold bonuses, Boosters, Highlight Reels, and Loot Boxes if you live in a region where these are allowed.

Pros

  • Win up to 20,000x your bet.
  • Very unique multiplier mechanics.
  • Huge range of Bonus Buys, Loot Boxes, Highlight Reels, and Boosters.

Cons

  • May be visually overwhelming for some players.
  • Complex rules, especially if playing the feature buys.
  • Suck is very volatile, especially in the base game.

Suck Slot Review Final Thoughts

Like every Shady Lady release so far, Suck is about as far-removed from what a “normal” online slot machine looks like. Gone are the days when Microgaming and NetEnt would release pretty, cute-sy-looking games, and this would be the “norm”. Suck is all about shock value, grotesque animations, high volatility - and a maximum win potential of up to 20,000x!

The base game carries plenty of action thanks to the Burger symbols and hot-sauce mechanics, and the different bonus rounds push volatility even higher thanks to the increasable pump multipliers and various upgrade paths available.

It’s definitely not going to be a game that appeals to everyone, but if you enjoyed previous Shady Lady releases, or if you’re looking to try something totally (and we mean, totally,) different from what you’re used to playing, then this could be one worth checking out!
