The action unfolds on a frozen set of reels over icy waters, with soft blue tones and drifting snow, giving the game quite a winter-wonderland-like feel. It’s definitely a Christmas-inspired game, but without all of the loud festivity-inspired graphics we’re used to seeing.

Santa Hopper Gameplay & Bonus Features

Santa Hopper is played on a 7×7 grid and uses Push Gaming’s classic cluster-pays engine, meaning wins are formed by landing clusters of five or more matching symbols touching horizontally or vertically. Each winning cluster triggers a cascade, clearing the winning symbols and allowing new ones to fall into place. You can bet between €0.30 and €100 per spin, and the game’s default RTP is 96.35%.

Santa and Golden Presents act as wilds, each carrying its own multiplier that is then applied when helping to form part of a winning cluster. If multiple wild multipliers contribute to the same win, their values stack, too. Santa himself comes with a random starting multiplier of 1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, or 10x.

Now, the game’s Chimney symbols don’t pay, but whenever a Santa lands in view together with at least one Chimney, the Santa Feature triggers. Santa hops to the nearest chimney, leaving behind a Golden Present Wild at his previous position while increasing his multiplier by +1.

You will also see Instant Prize symbols on the reels. These act as bet multipliers and also can form their own cluster wins if 5+ appear connected. Their values can range between 1x and 1,000x, and they become even more important during the free spins bonus.

On any non-winning cascade, the Jingle Drop Feature can trigger at random. This adds 1-2 oversized Mystic Symbols (2×2, 3×3, or 4×4) to the grid, which then split into regular symbols or Instant Prize Symbols when they land. They can also reveal Santa, Chimneys, or Bonus Symbols.

The main free spins bonus is triggered by landing 3+ bonus symbols in view. Whatever Santa, Golden Presents, Chimneys, or Instant Prize Symbols are on the grid when free spins start will remain there. Each empty position then spins independently into either a Chimney, an Instant Prize, an Extra Spin symbol, or a blank. Instant Prizes that land stay locked until the feature ends.

During the free spins, you’ll also notice Bubble symbols. These are non-paying icons containing values between 1 and 500. They move one position upwards on each spin, and they can also land on top of Chimneys, Presents, or Instant Prizes. Bubbles stack up to five high and disappear after the final spin, so you need to win them before that!
