Game Overview
Casino game provider Quickspin’s Robbits is a chaotic, cartoon-styled cluster-collect slot built around four naughty Rabbits, each with their own colour, abilities, and symbol-upgrading powers. The game boasts tumbling reels, a unique movement-and-collection system, power-ups, bonus rounds, extra bets, and a maximum win potential of up to 4,257x. Learn all about it here in this review!
Theme & Design
Quickspin has really come along since their early days, and most of their slots released today look and feel fantastic. Long gone are the days when they churned out low-variance junk!
Robbits is one of their latest releases, and the first thing that hits you is how loud the game looks, both visually and in personality. Quickspin has leaned into a Saturday-morning-cartoon style, and the game grid is set deep within what looks to be a workshop, presumably where the rabbits are up to no good!
For some reason, Robbits kind of reminds us of Quickspin’s Cash Truck 3, and it’s a far cry away from their early releases like Big Bad Wolf! Like all of their releases today, Robbits includes turbo mode and autoplay settings, too, so you can personalise the gameplay to fit your playing style.

Robbits Gameplay & Bonus Features
Robbits is played on a 5×5 grid layout, and it uses a cluster-collect win mechanic. Instead of matching clusters forming wins on their own, the Rabbits physically move around the grid and collect adjacent paying symbols, and these symbols disappear, triggering tumbles. You can bet €0.10 to €100 per spin and the game has a default RTP of 96.02%.
Now, look at the grid and you’ll notice there are four Rabbit characters; red, purple, green, and blue. Each of these is tied to a matching Chip colour, and each one can collect Wilds, Chips, Carrots, Bonus Symbols, and Upgrade Items.
Every spin begins with all Chips at base level, and if you collect an Upgrade, it increases the value of one colour’s Chips for that spin. A Super Upgrader increases all Chips by one level. Chips can be upgraded five times, and their values reset only at the end of each spin.
If you land a Carrot, you’re guaranteed a Power Up at the end of the tumble sequence, and they also act as sticky multipliers for the Rabbit who collected them, up to 50x. Now, if you land a Helipad symbol, the game grid expands by one row and one column, and a new tumble is triggered, with all Rabbits repositioning themselves.
Once a carrot is collected and all tumbles finish, the power-up triggers using the multiplier stored in the rabbit’s personal pot:
- Red Rabbit: Upgrades all Red Chips by two levels, and then all Rabbits swap positions. The multiplier applies to every Rabbit’s collection.
- Purple Rabbit: Transforms surrounding symbols into Purple Chips, then performs a Cluster-Collect with the stored multiplier applied.
- Green Rabbit: Collects all Chips on the grid from its current position without moving, applying the multiplier to every collected symbol.
- Blue Rabbit: Jumps to all other Rabbit positions that have Blue Chips nearby, does a Cluster-Collect, before returning to its starting point. All collected symbols are also multiplied.
Bonus symbols can also be collected by rabbits, and if they pick up three, you’ll receive 6 free spins with any additional bonus symbols awarded +1 spin. The free spins are pretty similar to the base game, with one core difference: all symbol upgrades, grid expansions, and Rabbit multipliers from the triggering spin carry over and do NOT reset, and this is where it’s possible to hit some decent-sized wins, if you’re lucky!
Bonus Buy & Extra Bet
Robbits has two optional bonus buy/side bet options. You can buy an instant entry to the free spins bonus for 70x, and you can also play with Extra Bet activated, which doubles your stake and increases the frequency of Carrots and Power Ups.
Pros
- Very unique cluster-collect mechanic.
- Tonnes of bonuses and features, including multipliers, tumbles, free spins, expansions, and more.
- It's possible to trigger the free spins with a very good setup.
Cons
- The win-mechanic can be quite tricky to understand at first.
- The game’s maximum win potential is quite low given its volatility.
- Extra Bet seems expensive for what it is.
Robbits Slot Review Final Thoughts
Robbits is one of Quickspin’s most “out-there” creations, but we’re going to preface this summary by saying it’s definitely not a game for everyone. The cluster collecting with character-driven mechanics is unique, yes, but it’s quite unusual, and it can actually feel pretty strange, especially if you’re used to playing conventional payline-based slots.
We do like how much Robbits has going on, though. Whether it’s the Rabbits themselves roaming around the grid, the Chip values increasing, or the Power Ups triggering, there’s a huge amount of action, and it’s certainly not a game that feels boring in any way!
However, we can’t help but feel Quickspin hasn’t got this quite right. It’s a high variance game, yet offers a maximum win potential of just 4,257x, and it’s also available in different RTP configurations, with the lowest just 84%!
