Game Overview
Porkin’ Rich is a farmyard-themed Hold & Win slot from IGT that combines a classic coin collection mechanic with a unique 720-ways-to-win bet-way style. With a 96.30% RTP, two bonus features, and a Grand Jackpot worth 1,000x, is it worth playing? Let’s find out.
Theme & Design
Porkin’ Rich may sound like a game that would be set in luscious farmyards, but it’s actually set in the middle of a city, outside a bank. On the left-hand side of the reels you’ll see an ATM, complete with a pink pig on the top, and above the reels sit the four jackpots that can be won.
The design is crisp and colourful, and while not the most complex in the world, it does a pretty good job of showing off the theme that the IGT is trying to convey. Of course, pig-inspired games are nothing new, and if you like this type of style, you may also enjoy Piggy Heist and Peaky Pigs.

Porkin’ Rich Gameplay & Features
Porkin’ Rich is played on a unique 3-4-5-4-3 reel layout, and there are a total of 720 ways-to-win, meaning wins are awarded simply for matching three or more symbols on adjacent reels from left to right. You can bet between €0.20 and €1,000 per spin. The game has a default RTP of 96.30%.
The Wild symbol appears on reels 2–5, and they substitute for all symbols except the Bank Roll and Coin symbols. The Bank Roll scatter appears only on reel 3 and triggers the Bank Roll Respin feature when it lands.
During the Bank Roll Respin feature, the Bank Roll symbol locks in place, collecting any coins on the reels and awarding one respin. Each new coin that lands adds to the total and awards another respin, continuing until no new coins appear. Once finished, all of the coin values on the reels are collected. These can range from 1x to 20x, along with any Mini, Minor, Major, or Grand prizes, worth 20x, 50x, 250x, and 1,000x respectively.
The game’s second bonus round, the Hold and Win Bonus, can trigger randomly on any base-game spin. It starts with an empty 19-position grid and three respins. Each Coin Scatter locks in place and resets the counter to three spins, revealing cash prizes or jackpot coins. You can also land special Piggy Bank symbols, which can award Collect, Multiplier, or Cash Coin upgrades.
The re-spins continue until the grid is full, or until no spins remain, and once the bonus round concludes, all of the coin prizes and jackpot amounts are added and awarded!
Pros
- Fun-filled theme.
- Two unique coin-collection features.
- Bonuses tend to trigger quite frequently.
Cons
- The base game payouts are pretty low.
- Not much happening beyond the features.
- Low max win of 1,000x.
Porkin' Rich Slot Review Final Thoughts
Porkin’ Rich doesn’t reinvent the Hold & Win formula, and while it looks pretty good, there’s not really anything to get overly excited about. Sure, the 720-ways-to-win format is something a bit different, and we do like the fact that there are two different Hold & Win features, but there’s definitely nothing new here.
Add in the fact that the game’s maximum jackpot is worth just 1,000x, and it’s hard to see the game doing particularly well with players, especially when there are so many more lucrative Hold & Win style games available right now.
