Game provider Elk Studios has taken us on some epic adventures so far in their “Pirots” slot collection, and in Pirots 4, you’re set for a journey into deep space where you might just come across an intelligent lifeform from another planet. Theme & Design
As with many slot franchises, over the years, the artwork, design, and graphics improve with each release, and that can certainly be said about Pirots 4, which is fantastic in every way. The game gets off to a great start as it plays out its backstory with brilliant animations, so make sure that you watch this rather than just skipping through to get to the slot, as Elk deserves some kudos for this. Pirots 4 Gameplay & Features
As you might have seen in previous games in the franchise, Pirots 4 doesn’t include any reels or standard symbols as such. Instead, it uses Elk’s unique CollectR mechanic, where the respective coloured Pirots in the game collect gems of the same colour to award you with monetary prizes. Although the playfield can be expanded with the gameplay, you’ll initially begin on a 6×6 grid where each spin costs a minimum of €0.20 to a maximum of €100, with the slot offering a fixed RTP of 94%.
The base game and bonus round are jam-packed with features which include gem upgrades that see the value of the gems increased up to a maximum of 7 times. Then we have wilds, gold coin multiplier symbols worth up to 1,000x in value, black hole symbols which can remove birds from the reels, giving you bigger prizes to win, and transform symbols that change gems to a colour you’re able to collect.
That’s not all, though, as we have a unique Spacecorn symbol, and if this fills all reel positions, the Lost in Space round is triggered. This Hold & Win style bonus plays out on a new playfield, giving you a separate chance away from the main game to boost up your bonus winnings.
Additional features in the game are Alien Invasion, where the space bandit collects gems until he is defeated and then pays you out all he has stashed in his ship; space portals and space stations, which allow the Pirots to locate new areas of the game for more ways to win; and finally, the free spins round, where all of the above can be triggered and activated. Phew, that’s quite the feature set, Elk.
X-iter Bonus Buy
The X-iter is Elk Studios’ version of the bonus buy, and the following options are on offer in Pirots 4, and available to access in the demo slot.

I just tried Pirots 4 from Elk Studios. It seemed normal at first, but when the Pirot symbols started to gather and the multiplier activated, it suddenly felt busy. I once got a decent win with a small bet. On the other hand, this game can also take a while to get hot, so if you’re impatient, you can quickly lose your bankroll.
