Game Overview
Piggy Heist is a chaotic, money-focused slot from Play’n GO where a group of pigs plan the ultimate bank robbery! Look out for wild explosions, multipliers, coin collectors, and a maximum win potential of up to 70,000x!
Theme & Design
Play’n GO has, for over a decade, been seen as one of the leading software providers in the iGaming world, and for good reason. Some of their hit releases, like Book of Dead and Moon Princess, have become fan favourites worldwide, and their attention to detail, unique mechanics and features, and innovative concepts have allowed them to become a true market leader in the slots development world.
Piggy Heist is one of the most ambitious releases yet, we feel, and it leans fully into the comic heist theme, offering up a superb blend of humour and action in a cartoon style. The visuals are superb, and you’ll see a number of criminally minded pigs on the reels, alongside familiar playing card values, including jack, queen, king, and ace.

Piggy Heist Gameplay & Features
The game unfolds on a 5×4 grid with 4,096 ways to win, and it runs on a high volatility math model. Despite this high variance model, Piggy Heist has a slightly above-average RTP of 96.2%, although, as with all Play’n GO slots, the game is also available in lower RTP settings. You can wager between €0.10 and €100 per spin, so there are stake options for players on all budgets, too.
There are some pretty decent bonuses and features in the game, too, the first of which is the Coin Collection mechanic. Coin Pouch scatter symbols can land on reels one and six, and they collect all Coin Scatters in view. If two Coin Pouch scatter symbols land, the Coin Scatters are paid twice.
These scatter symbols can contain multipliers of up to 25x. If they land without a coin pouch on the reels, they get collected by the safe. Sometimes, when a Coin Scatter is collected, the Hold’n Spin feature is triggered, too.
During this feature, Coin Scatters that land with their blank side showing, and once the bonus round has finished, they display multipliers of up to 30x. You begin with three re-spins, and each time you land a new scatter, this re-spin counter resets back to 3. At the end of the Hold’n Spin feature, you can also choose to gamble your winnings.
Finally, there’s the Vault Wilds feature. You fill this meter by collecting stethoscope scatters. Each time you collect six of these symbols, you unlock a new wild symbol. There are five stages to unlock, with wilds growing in size the higher you get.
Pros
- Insane max win potential that hits 70,000x
- Heaps of bonuses and features to enjoy.
- Unique vault wilds feature.
Cons
- No free spins bonus.
- There is no bonus buy option.
Piggy Heist Slot Review Final Thoughts
Piggy Heist is one of those games that takes a minute or two to get used to, but it really does push the boundaries of what we’re used to seeing from Play’n Go. In fact, it appears to be one of their highest (if not the highest) win potential games we’ve seen from the studio, and despite the lack of a bonus buy mechanic, it’s a lot of fun to play.
There’s plenty of action in the base game, and the bonus rounds are fun, unpredictable, and lucrative, and the fact that there’s the Vault Wilds feature added into the mix, too, adds yet another level of excitement!
Piggy Heist is definitely a game we’d recommend, and it’s one of our favourite Play’n GO releases for a while, that’s for sure!
