One of the things about Playtech games is that many players felt they generally used to look quite dated. You won’t find any paylines in Mystic Mines, as the game uses a scatter pays mechanic. This means wins are formed by landing symbols anywhere in view, and provided you land a minimum of 8 of the same symbol on the screen, you’ll form a win! Plus, like most scatter pays slots, Mystic Mines uses a cascading reels mechanic.

After each win, the symbols involved in the win are removed, and any remaining symbols on the reels fall to the bottom of the reels. This process continues as long as new wins are formed and is present in both the base game and the free spins bonus. During the base game, there’s also a Wild Multiplier mechanic in play. Any time a wild symbol helps to form a win, the multiplier increases, and this is “stored” and carried over to the free spins bonus when triggered.
