Slot Overview
Mummy’s Jewels 100 is a new release from Pragmatic Play that acts as a sequel to the original Mummy’s Jewels. Here, the volatility is higher, the multipliers larger, and the maximum win potential has been trebled to a whopping 300%! So, on paper everything looks good, but is it worth playing? Let’s find out.
Theme & Design
Pragmatic’s original Mummy’s Jewels saw semi-decent levels of success, but it didn’t do anywhere near as well as some of the other games which later had “100” or “1000” spinoffs, like Gates of Olympus.
Whether Mummy’s Jewels 100 will do well or not remains to be seen. What is clear is that Pragmatic Play has decided to stick (primarily) with the game’s original mechanics while making them bigger and better than before.
Visually, Mummy’s Jewels 100 is set in an ancient Egyptian oasis, and you’ll see a stunning backdrop filled with temples, statues, lush gardens and ponds. Above the reels is a huge Prize Wheel, which is central to the game’s mechanics, and on the left-hand side of the screen you’ll see the two Feature Buy options.

Mummy’s Jewels 100 Gameplay & Bonus Features
Mummy’s Jewels 100 is played on a five-reel, three-row layout, and the game uses a 243-ways-to-win mechanic. You can bet between €0.15 and €240 per spin, and the game’s default RTP is set at 96.5%, although lower versions are also available depending on where you play.
On the reels, you’ll see standard symbols and Money Coins, the latter of which carry fixed cash prizes or Jackpots: Mini, Major, Mega, and Grand. Money symbols land on reels two to five, while Collect and Super Collect symbols appear exclusively on the leftmost reel. When a Collect symbol lands alongside Money symbols, their values are awarded. Super Collect works the same way but applies a random multiplier between 2x and 100x to the values displayed on the Money Coins.
Now, there are also three coloured wilds, and these correspond to one of the game’s three core mechanics:
- Purple Wild – Upgrade Feature: This increases the value of non-jackpot Prize Wheel segments before the wheel spins.
- Green Wild – Extra Feature: This adds an extra 1, 2, or 3 pointers to the Prize Wheel.
- Red Wild – Respins Feature: This awards between 5 and 100 Respins, with increasing Money symbol multipliers.
These bonuses and features can stack on top of one another, and this is where the game’s core win potential lies. Of course, the Respins are the game’s “bonus”, but all three can pay, even in the base game.
Bonus Buys
Mummy’s Jewels 100 contains two Bonus Buy options. The Respins Feature can be purchased for 50x, while the Super Bonus costs 200x and guarantees Super Collect symbols only during the feature.
Pros
- Solid maximum win potential of 30,000x.
- 3 modifiers present in the base game; Upgrade, Respins, and Extra.
- Two Bonus Buy options.
Cons
- Little innovation from the original Mummy’s Jewels.
- Lower RTP versions are widely available.
- It’s a very volatile game, especially if you play the base game.
Mummy's Jewels 100 Slot Review Final Thoughts
Mummy’s Jewels 100 is a textbook example of Pragmatic Play’s “upgrade” mindset, taking a recent release, offering a much higher maximum win potential - and doing little else. Yes, Mummy’s Jewels 100 is clearly more volatile than its predecessor, and there’s no denying you absolutely can win up to 30,000x.
Aside from that, however, we can’t help but feel this is just another generic spinoff; even the 3-modifier-mechanic is something we’ve now seen Pragmatic Play, Light & Wonder, and Play’n GO doing a LOT - and it just doesn’t feel exciting or “new” anymore.
That being said, it’s not all bad news. We do like the fact that Mummy’s Jewels 100 contains Super Collect symbols, and those multipliers, of up to 100x. can produce some monster hits, both in the base game and during the Respins. However, this isn’t really a bonus-heavy slot, and all of the action tends to happen quite quickly, so if you’re looking for long, drawn-out features, Mummy’s Jewels 100 probably isn’t for you.
If, on the other hand, you don’t mind high risk, you enjoy Egyptian-themed slots, and you’re happy for fast-paced, action-packed gaming that doesn't build much on the original Mummy’s Jewels slot, then this could be worth checking out for a few spins at least!
