Developer Pragmatic Play has caught me out with this one, as when I reviewed Mr Tain’s Fishing Adventures, I wasn’t expecting a series to come from it. But here we are, finding out more about Mr. Tain, a man who, alongside a love for fishing, also hosts party nights at his lavish nightclub in a glitzy part of town. On party night, he dresses up to the nines and mingles with his guests as he sups on expensive champagne, knocks back fancy cocktails and puffs away on his cigars. I have to say; I’m intrigued to learn more about this modern man of mystery in future releases, but only because I get the feeling there’s more than meets the eye with this guy. As for the slot itself, let’s take a quick look at the specifics before we jump into the features waiting for us. In short, Mr Tain’s Party Night is a 5-reel, 3-row, and 20-fixed payline slot with a 96% RTP and a max win of 5,000x the stake.
The first thing that will grab your attention when you load up this slot for the first time is the trendy jazz soundtrack, which admittedly had me vibing from the off. In fact, I reckon you’re lying if you’re not nodding your head and tapping your feet as you spin the reels. The visuals are also of a high standard, but that’s fairly typical for Pragmatic Play. Mr Tain shares the top spot with the Wild symbol regarding payouts, and both return 20x the stake for a combo of five. An Attractive Woman, perhaps Mr Tain’s partner, is next in line with up to 5x on offer, while the nightclub’s DJ, Cocktail Waiter, and Bouncer are worth a maximum of 4x, 3x, and 2.5x, respectively. Bringing up the rear with the lower value symbols are the Disco Ball and Champagne, sharing a top value of 2x, whilst the Cocktail and Cigarette Lighter, each return up to 1x for a five of a kind win.

As for creating a winning combination, you’ll need three or more matching symbols to line up across a payline starting from the leftmost reel first.
Wild Symbols
I’ve already mentioned the wilds and how they share the top single-symbol payout and will substitute for all regular symbols. However, there’s more; if 2, 3, 4, or 5 wilds contribute to a winning combo, they will multiply the payout by 2x, 4x, 8x, or 16x, respectively.
Money Symbols
Money Symbols can appear on any spin and hold a random multiplier value between 0.5x and 250x the stake. You will not receive those prizes all the time, but at the end of any spin, there is a chance their values will light up on the symbols and be paid out.

You’ll also need those money symbols to trigger the main bonus feature on Mr Tain’s Paqrty Night slot. When a spin reveals instances of these symbols on each of the first, third, and fifth reels, you’ll trigger an initial five free spins.
Free Spins Feature
Before the free spins start, two things occur. First, the values of all triggering money symbols are added together and applied to the Money Bag Value Meter to the left of the reels. Then, a wheel spins to reveal which of the high-paying symbols becomes a Free Spins Special Money symbol and holds the same value as displayed in that meter. Whenever they land during the spins, you receive that value. Furthermore, any regular money symbols will increase that value and also retrigger the bonus if they land on the first, third, and fifth reels on the same spin.

As this is the second Mr Tain slot, I think we’re at the start of another slot series from Pragmatic Play, which is never a bad thing when you consider the success enjoyed by the others from this developer. The two titles to date have been polar opposites in terms of mechanics and bonuses, which is something else I’m happy to see. My only major gripe with both is the winning potential, which is far too low. Perhaps this will increase in future releases, should we get any more, that is.
