Game Overview
I’m sure I’m not the only one among us here that has a sweet tooth, and the thought of discovering a little boutique confectionery shop sounds like a dream come true, wouldn’t you agree? Well, as luck would have it, we’ve been given directions to a store that offers just that in the Kitsune Studios slot Miss Candy’s Sweet Escape, a 6-reel game with cluster pays, cascading reels, free spins, and a maximum win of 10,000x.
Theme & Design
If you’re after a chilled-out location to enjoy some sweet treats, then Miss Candy’s shop looks to be the ideal destination, situated within a peaceful backdrop, where the hostess of the game is ready to greet you with a plateful of delicious-looking candy. As for the design of the slot, it’s neat and tidy with some bright colours and falls into the category of ‘good quality’, which is what you’d expect from any developer using the Hacksaw OpenRGS platform.
We’ll dig into the features of Miss Candy’s Sweet Escape soon, but not before I’ve given you a couple of other suggestions in the candy slot genre to play. Obviously, given what today’s review is based on, I have to send you over to the Pragmatic demo of Sugar Rush 1000, but if you want to try something completely different, then the Retro Sweets demo is a worthy alternative.

Miss Candy’s Sweet Escape Gameplay & Features
Kitsune Studios Miss Candy’s Sweet Escape is a 6-reel, 5-row cluster pays slot with an RTP of 96.33%. The team at Kitsune has ensured that players of all-sized budgets can nip into their snack shop with stakes starting at a minimum of €0.10 a spin and reaching up to a maximum of €100.
Let’s get stuck into the gameplay now, and at the start of each spin, it’s possible for a random amount of spots on the reels to be given multiplier amounts, and we’ll discuss that more in a moment. However, first off, and like most slots in this style, Miss Candy’s Sweet Escape is a tumbling reels game, with winning symbols being removed from the reels and new symbols cascading down to replace them for more chances to win.
After a symbol has been removed, it will leave a mark behind, and if another win occurs on the same spot, it will transform into a multiplier of x2, which, through the same process, can reach a max value of 256x. Any wins that land on these, or the random values awarded, will be applied to the win they are a part of.
Sugar Bomb
The Sugar Bomb symbol can land in view alongside other symbols during any spin. Only one bomb can appear at a time. Once all cascades have finished, the bomb triggers and explodes in a cross-shaped pattern, affecting tiles in four directions: north, south, east, and west. The reach of the explosion varies, from just 1 adjacent tile to potentially the entire width or height of the grid.
When triggered, the bomb randomly selects one symbol from the low-paying, high-paying, or wild symbols. It then transforms all affected tiles into the chosen symbol, only transforming existing low- and high-paying symbols.
Coin Bubble Cash Values
An additional coin symbol can only appear during Sweetest Escape Spins. Only one coin can land per reel, and at least one coin is guaranteed to land during the bonus. Once all cascades (including any triggered bombs) are complete, the coin feature activates. Each coin is removed from the grid. When this happens, the entire column the coin was in is removed, leaving only the multiplier values at the bottom intact.
For each coin, 1 to 3 bubbles are generated in that column. Each bubble is assigned a random cash value of the following x times your bet: 0.2x, 0.5x, 1x, 2x, 3x, 5x, 10x, 15x, or 20x. The bubbles rise up the reel and eventually pop, awarding their cash value multiplied by the multiplier beneath them. If no multiplier is present, the raw cash value is awarded.
Sweet Escape Free Spins
The main free spins bonus is triggered when 3, 4, 5, or 6 scatters land in view, awarding 10, 12, 14, or 16 free spins, respectively. During this bonus, all multiplier values remain persistent, and at least one coin symbol is guaranteed to land.
Bonus Buy
Players who wish to spin with a greater chance of hitting a feature can choose from the following enhanced bet and feature buy options.
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins: Each spin is 5 times more likely to trigger a feature – Costs 3x the base bet.
- Miss Candy’s FeatureSpins: All positions receive a random multipler amount – Costs 50x the base bet per spin.
- Free Spins – Costs 100x the base bet.
Pros
- Players will be familiar with the mechanics used.
- Random multipliers can be awarded in the base game.
- Max win of 10,000x.
Cons
- Very similar to dozens of other slots with the same features.
- The 50x feature spin is not for the faint-hearted.
Miss Candy's Sweet Escape Slot Review Final Thoughts
We've seen countless clones of Pragmatic Play's Sugar Rush from numerous developers now, so it's always difficult to give the slots a realistic score, as they all do pretty much the same thing. So, in the case of Miss Candy's Sweet Escape, I would say it was worth some game time, as the random multipliers in the base game do make it stand out, but there are definitely better variations of this style of slot out there, too, so the best thing to do is spin the reels on our free demo today and see what you make of this release.
