Pros
- Like most Thunderkick slots, players can take part in the gameplay from only €0.10 a spin.
- The Hold & Win feature is a good variation of a popular mechanic.
- The wild feature can produce nice base game wins,
- Players can enjoy multiple enhanced betting options.
Cons
- If you don't like Hold & Win games, there's not much point playing.
- Slots with big fixed jackpots rarely seem to pay the top prize.
- The RTP is well below the industry average.
Milk The Cow Slot Review Final Thoughts
2025 has seen somewhat of a revival for the Hold & Win slot, with multiple games from a variety of providers being released in this niche every month. This has led to some fairly sub-standard releases, to be honest, so when I saw the Hold & Win attached to the bottom of Thunderkick's Milk The Cow, my heart pretty much sank in expectation of yet another boring game with the same old generic take on the bonus round.
However, I was in for a surprise and a pleasant one at that, as this cluster pays game comes with a Wild Feature that can create some tasty wins in the base game, and a bonus round that gives us a completely different take on the Hold & Win bonus. Yes, you still start with 3 lives, replenished each time a new symbol lands, but those symbols that do hit can be upgraded, with the bigger the cow, the higher the payout at the end of the round. Furthermore, if you are to land all 25 cows in the bonus, you'll win the 5,000x grand jackpot, although it's probably quite unlikely you'll see this, but I guess you never know.
To top it all off, Thunderkick has added a selection of enhanced betting options to Milk The Cow, something relatively new for the provider. So, if you like to take a greater chance when playing, there's the opportunity to do so here.
That's pretty much it, so take our free demo for a spin and see what you think. Yes, it's yet another Hold & Win, but at least it offers some variation.
