Game Overview
Many of us will have grown up on the WWF, but if you were born in Britain, like myself, you’ll remember a couple of absolute legends in the wrestling ring, namely Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. These guys were absolute units, and to be fair, quite a few of the shots they took looked genuinely real, and man, they looked like they hurt.
Okay, why am I spinning a yarn about boyhood wrestling personalities? That’s thanks to Push Gaming and their Masked Mayhem slot, a 5-reel game with 50 paylines, a collector-style bonus round, and a maximum win of 10,231x the bet.
Theme & Design
Push Gaming are not the first studio to go down the Mexican wrestling theme route, and it’s likely a path well trodden due to developers not having to pay any licensing fees, as this would certainly be the case if they were to cover the WWE in a slot. This has led to a selection of generic-looking wrestlers appearing on the reels, but as Push are a tier-one provider, we’re presented with a game that’s easy on the eye and clearly been developed by some talented individuals within their group.
Has Push got you in the mood for more clotheslines and suplexes? Then don’t worry, as we’ve got you covered here at Demoslot. So, rather than searching through our site, just head over to Play’n GO and try out their Luchamigos slot, a 5-reel game with a max win of 10,000x. If, however, you like some of the mechanics but not the theme, I’d suggest going over to our Fat Santa demo and Fat Rabbit demo, as these share similar features to Masked Mayhem, and I think you’ll enjoy them.

Masked Mayhem Gameplay & Features
Push Gaming’s Masked Mayhem is a 5-reel, 5-row online slot with 50 fixed paylines and RTP models that vary from a high of 96.29% to a shockingly low 85.42%. The game does, however, offer a good range of betting options to suit the budgets of all players, with minimum stakes starting at €0.10 and reaching a maximum of €100.
Moving onto the features, other than hitting line wins in the base game, there’s also a chance the overlay feature can randomly trigger. This will see a winzone ranging from 2×2 up to 5×5 in size appearing, with all monetary values that appear within it paid out as a prize.
As for the main bonus, this is a free spins round triggered when 3, 4, or 5 scatters land in view, awarding 6, 8, and 10 spins, respectively. During this bonus, a wrestler is present on the screen at all times, where he can collect monetary values, more bonus symbols to advance on the meter, and pot symbols, putting you in with a chance of winning up to a fixed 10,000x jackpot. Each time you reach a new level on the meter, your wrestler will increase in size, you’ll receive more spins, and the win multiplier will get bigger, too.
Bonus Buy
Players wishing to skip the base game can trigger the free spins instantly at the cost of 60x the base bet.
Pros
- Expanding symbol in the free spins.
- Max win of over 10,000x.
- Cheap bonus buy of 60x.
Cons
- Similar to the "fat" series of games, but lacks the thrill
- Six free spins never feels like enough to win anything good.
- The wrestling theme won't be for all players.
Masked Mayhem Slot Review Final Thoughts
I always find it hard to get excited about slots with fixed jackpots, as I can't ever remember, over all the years of playing, getting more than like the 2nd highest pot up, maybe the 3rd, but very rarely. However, there was a bit of hope for Masked Mayhem, as it does use some of the "fat" series of mechanics, but, unfortunately, even if you expand the wrestler to a good size, there are no guarantees of winning anything good.
To sum up, some of you might this a fun game to play, but for me, a couple of bonus buys was enough for me before moving on to something else.
