Slot Overview
Le Bunny is the latest “Le” slot from Hacksaw Gaming, and this cluster pays game once again sees Smokey the Raccoon taking to the screen, this time, wearing an Easter-themed disguise! Golden Squares, Rainbow Activations, and Jackpot-style Egg Prizes all return, and a maximum win potential of 20,000x makes this look like an improvement on previous releases. Is this a decent game worth playing? Or is Le Bunny yet another “Le” game nobody asked for? Let’s find out.
Gameplay & Bonus Features
Le Bunny uses a 6-reel, 5-row grid with Cluster Pays. Wins are formed by connecting 5+ matching symbols horizontally or vertically. You can bet between €0.10 and €50 per spin, and the game’s RTP is slightly above average at 96.14%.
Now, like all “Le” games, Le Bunny uses a cascading mechanic, with a “mark and activate” element. Any win triggers a cascade, and those wins also create Golden Squares behind positions on the grid. When a Rainbow lands, these Golden Squares are then activated, revealing cash prizes, multipliers, or jackpot eggs.
The game’s Free Spins bonus is triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the Scatter symbols anywhere in view. Each feature awards 10 free games, with the difference between the bonuses surrounding how the Golden Frames and Rainbows work. 3 Scatters awards Spell of Luck. Here, all Golden Squares are progressive, remaining on the grid until the Rainbow symbol activates them.
4 Scatters awards Swiping the Sweets, and during this bonus, all Golden Squares stick to the grid, even after they’ve been activated by a Rainbow. There’s also a Hidden Epic Bonus, Rainbow Riches, triggered by landing 5 Scatters. Here, you’re guaranteed to land a Rainbow on every spin.
FeatureSpins / Bonus Buy
Le Bunny contains four FeatureSpins/Bonus Buy options, if you live in a region where feature buys are allowed:
- BonusHunt FeatureSpins: Costs 3x and makes each spin 5x more likely to trigger a feature.
- RainbowCatching FeatureSpins: Costs 60x and guarantees 1 win and 1 Rainbow symbol landing on every spin.
- Spell of Luck: Costs 80x for 10 free games.
- Swiping the Sweets: Costs 250x for 10 free games.

Theme & Design
The “Le” series has proven to be one of the most successful Hacksaw Gaming releases, arguably the most successful. We’ve seen a large number of spinoffs since the original, including titles like Le Rapper and Le Fisherman, and Le Bunny is the latest instalment following Smokey the Racoon.
Le Bunny is designed around a springtime theme, and you’ll see bright meadows, painted eggs, sweets, and festive Easter-themed imagery used throughout. Like pretty much all Hacksaw releases, it’s not the most impressive game in the world, design-wise, but it does look decent enough, and animations are smooth and fluid. The game is also fully mobile optimised, so you can enjoy the action from your mobile devices, too.
Pros
- Impressive maximum win potential of 20,000x.
- Hidden Epic Bonus can be very lucrative.
- Three different Free Spins bonuses.
Cons
- Very similar to previous “Le” games.
- Bonus Buy/FeatureSpins are unavailable in some regions.
- Jackpot Eggs seem quite rare.
Final Thoughts
Le Bunny is yet another cluster pays slot from Hacksaw Gaming that features Smokey the Racoon, and while we don’t hate it, we can’t help but feel as though it’s basically identical to all previous “Le” games.
Yes, there’s a slightly higher maximum win potential of 20,000x, and yes, there are now Jackpot Eggs in the game. However, aside from these two differences (and let’s be honest, how often are the top-paying jackpots really going to land anyway?), Le Bunny is basically identical to all previous “Le” games, and we just don’t really understand why Hacksaw Gaming is so determined to milk this franchise.
If you’ve never played any “Le” games before, then yes, Le Bunny could be worth playing. Similarly, if you’re hopelessly addicted to all “Le” games, you may also enjoy it. For us, however, who’re used to seeing these kinds of games all the time, Le Bunny simply isn’t special, and there’s really nothing going on here to make it stand out. It’s not bad, but it’s not great, and we’d like to see Hacksaw Gaming coming out with more innovation in the future.

I like this game, it can be another option from the Le Bandit and Le Cowboy games with its abundant rainbow features, even though the collector and Clover symbols are a bit difficult to appear.
