Pros
- A bright and colourful theme.
- Full of modifiers that can increase the win potential.
- Uses well-known Play'n GO in-game features.
Cons
- Feels like Play'n GO are still dining out on the symbol collection meter, which is a bit old hat.
- Low max win of 5,000x.
- Quite a boring game to play.
King of Sweets Slot Review Final Thoughts
Nobody could ever fault Play'n GO's innovation in the past, which led to hugely successful and iconic releases like Book of Dead and Reactoonz, but in recent times, it's hard to think of any standout games from the studio.
That's not going to change any time soon either with their release of King of Sweets, which feels very much like a Reactoonz-style game with a symbol collection meter that can award modifiers and eventually free spins. And, just like many other titles from the studio that use similar mechanics, it's hard to see how you ever win anything substantial in the game, with the 5,000x jackpot seeming almost impossible to achieve.
Have I been a touch harsh here? Possibly, but this isn't a style of game I enjoy playing anymore, as it feels as though iGaming has moved on from these kinds of mechanics. Anyway, try out our free demo slot of King of Sweets and see what you make of the game for yourself.
