Push Gaming is known for taking some unusual approaches, but Henry the Ape may be one of their strangest yet! The reels are set on a street scene in what looks to be New York City, and there’s graffiti-style art, which all the symbols are designed around! Henry the Ape Gameplay & Bonus Features

Henry the Ape is designed around a six-reel, four-row layout, and the game uses a 4,096-ways-to-win mechanic. You can spin the reels for as little as €0.10 and as much as €100 per spin. The default RTP is set at 96.44% (although lower versions are available, some reaching a rock-bottom 85.33%!)

There’s quite a lot going on in the gameplay, and first up is the Super High Paying Symbol. This is the strongest-looking ape, and it pays for landing two or more from left to right. If a super high-paying symbol lands on reels 2-5, the Nudge Feature triggers.

If you manage to land 3+ scatter symbols, you’ll trigger the free spins bonus, and during this feature, a bonus meter is placed above the reels. On all of the reels, the Super High Paying Symbol can now land with a gold disc, which is collected into the bonus meter. Each time you collect four Gold Discs, you win more free spins, and a symbol will be transformed into the Super High Symbol!

Now, if you only land two scatter symbols, the Second Chance Feature can randomly trigger, and when it does, the third scatter will nudge onto the reels, triggering the bonus. There’s also a “Fat Stacks” feature. During both the base game and the free spins, 1-2 stacks of the super high-paying symbol can be randomly added to reels 2, 3, 4, or 5 on a non-winning spin.

Also activated on some non-winning spins is the Drop the Win Feature, and in the base game, when activated, Super High Symbols or wild symbols can be added to help you form a win. Finally, there’s the Rewind Feature, which is another non-winning-spin feature, and when it activates, the reels simply re-spin, guaranteeing you a win.
