Hades Cerberus Riches is played on a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines. The game uses a win-both-ways mechanic, so wins pay from left to right and right to left. You can bet from €0.20 to €100 per spin, and the RTP is 96.24%.

The game also uses an Avalanche feature. Whenever a win lands, the winning symbols disappear and new symbols fall into place, which continues for as long as new wins are formed. There is also a pretty unique Wild Cerberus Multiplier mechanic. Wild symbols can drop in from above the reels, and when they do, they substitute for all regular symbols except the Skull of Charon and Bonus Scatter. 

Each three Wilds that get removed during an Avalanche increase the Wild Cerberus Multiplier. In the base game, this increases by +1 for every 3 Wilds and resets between spins. During bonus rounds, however, it increases by +2 and does not reset until the bonus finishes.

The first “proper” bonus round is the Skull of Charon Feature. When one or more Skull of Charon symbols appear, they activate a special removal feature once no further wins are formed. Each skull removes itself and between 2 and 10 random regular symbols, triggering another avalanche. 

The game’s main feature is Hades Bonus Spins, triggered by landing 3 Scatter symbols in the base game. Doing so awards 10 Hades Bonus Spins. During the feature, 3, 4 or 5 Scatters award +5, +10 or +15 additional spins, respectively. The Wild Cerberus Multiplier increases faster during the feature, and most importantly, it does not reset between spins.

Bonus Buy & Ante Bet Options

Hades Cerberus Riches includes several optional features. Bonus Hunt costs 5x and increases the odds of triggering Hades Bonus Spins, while Guaranteed Skull costs 8x and guarantees the Skull of Charon feature on every spin.

You can also buy Hades Bonus Spins for 70x or Super Bonus Spins for 200x. The latter starts you with the Wild Cerberus Multiplier at 15x.

Theme & Design

Hades Cerberus Riches is designed  heavily on Greek mythology, and you’ll find yourself transported to a fiery underworld that appears to be guarded by the infamous three-headed dog!

In the background, you’ll see molten lava, caves, and Cerberus himself floating above the reels, with a multiplier value beneath; this increases as wins are formed, and we’ll talk more about this a little bit later in this review.
