Theme & Design

We’ve played countless Zeus-themed slots, but few have made us laugh like this one. Godly Gains does away with Olympus’ usual thunder and fury, instead showcasing Zeus in the middle of a workout… in a golden temple gym! Now, visually, Godly Gains looks superb, and you’ll see the reels set within a sky-high temple, with the muscular Zeus (complete with dumbbells) on the left-hand side of the screen! Occasional lightning flashes can be seen in the backdrop, and, to be fair, it’s a great looking slot, we can’t deny that!

Goldly Gains Gameplay & Features

Godly Gains is designed around a 6×6 grid layout, and it uses a cluster-pays mechanic. This means you form wins whenever 5 or more matching symbols touch horizontally or vertically. Plus, each time you form a win, a cascade is triggered, with new symbols dropping down to replace the disappearing ones. This continues until no more wins occur. You can play from between €0.10 and €50 per spin, and the game boasts a slightly above-average RTP of 96.26%.

There’s a LOT going on in terms of bonuses and features, and the first is the Global Multiplier. This has a default value of 1x and is applied to all wins. To increase the Global Multiplier, you need to land the God Mode symbol. When he appears, he can either increase the multiplier by between 1x and 100x, add 1-20 wild symbols to the grid, or multiply that spin’s win by up to 10x!

Landing three scatter symbols in view triggers the Glorious Grind bonus round, which awards you with ten free spins. During the free spins, the multiplier does not reset between spins, and every God Mode symbol always adds wild symbols, too. If you trigger the bonus round with four scatter symbols, you’ll be awarded the Divine Drills feature. Here, you again start with ten free spins, but for this bonus, you get a higher Wild Counter; 3-5, instead of one.

In both free spins bonus rounds, landing additional scatter symbols awards +1 spin. Now, also active during both free spins rounds are the Thunderstruck symbols. When they land, they act BEFORE any God Mode symbols, either increasing the Global Multiplier or adding to the Wild Symbol Counter, a persistent tracker of wilds that you managed to create throughout the bonus round.
