Pros
- Features both Megaways and cascading reels.
- Some players will appreciate the collection aspect of the game.
- Ancient mythology slots often seem to resonate with players.
Cons
- The RTP is shockingly low at 93.75%.
- Whilst some players will love the collection aspect, others will despise it.
- The max win of 43,200x seems unachievable for such a game.
Gods of Troy Megaways Slot Review Final Thoughts
Whenever I think of collection-based online slots, Red Tiger are the first game provider that springs to mind, so it wasn't a surprise to me at all that Gods of Troy Megaways features a cycle of 10 spins where shields are collected in the first 9 spins, and on the 10th spin they are added as wilds to the reels.
The wilds are the star of the show once the free spins bonus is triggered, too, with a random amount added to the reels on each spin (determined by how many scatters you trigger the bonus round with). You should note that the free spins can only be triggered in the first 9 spins of the cycle, and there is no bonus buy option in the game.
Overall, Gods of Troy Megaway is a middle-of-the-road release from Red Tiger and a title I can't see gaining much interest at all. What do you think? Give the free demo slot a try.
