Glorious Alexander Gods & Kings Link is played on a five-reel, three-row layout, and there’s an interesting mechanic in place that allows you to choose whether to play with 25 or 50 paylines. The RTP sits at around 96.50%, and you can bet between €0.50 and €25 per spin.

The game’s main mechanic is the Special Frames, and these come into play during the Free Spins, which are triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the Scatter symbols anywhere in view. As each spin plays out, landing Alexander marks the position on which he landed, and on the final spin, all marked frames turn into wilds.

Gods & Kings Link is EGT’s newest multi-level jackpot system, and it operates differently from Clover Chance. Landing 3 jackpot symbols in the base game triggers the jackpot feature (or awards the jackpot immediately if you land three of the same type), and during the bonus, you’re taken to a 5×4 reel set, where you need to try and land as many jackpot symbols as possible.

Theme & Design

Alexander the Great has been done a fair bit in the slots industry before, but EGT has done a fairly good job of putting its own spin on the theme, we feel. Now, from a visual perspective, Glorious Alexander Gods & Kings Link is actually quite bland, but, weirdly, that’s one of the reasons why we feel it works.

The reels are set on top of a red, fiery backdrop, and you’ll see gold coins littered at the bottom of the screen. Now, the main focal point is the jackpots, two of which are progressive and two of which are fixed. You can see the progressives counting up in real time, which is a nice touch.
