Fruit Merge Megapots Bonus Features

Fruit Merge Megapots combines Hold and Spin, Free Spins and BTG’s Megapots mechanic. Fruit symbols and Megapot Coins can land as bonus symbols, and 6 or more of them trigger the Hold and Spin feature with 3 respins.

During Hold and Spin, every position becomes its own reel, and any new bonus symbol resets the respins back to 3. Matching 3 identical fruits merges them into the next tier, with each colour able to climb through 4 tiers before turning into a Megapot Coin. Collecting 3 matching Megapot Coins awards one of the Megapot prizes shown above the reels.

Free spins are triggered by landing 3 or more scatters, awarding 12 free spins plus 3 extra spins for each additional scatter. During free spins, the win multiplier starts at 1x and increases by 1 for every bonus symbol that lands. If Hold and Spin does not trigger, bonus symbols stay locked into the next free spin, helping build towards the feature.

The game also includes bonus buy options. Hold and Spin can be bought for 35x the stake, while 12 free spins can be purchased for 85x the stake.

Final Thoughts

BTG adds Fruit Merge Megapots to their existing titles in this franchise of Millionaire Megapots and Monopoly Megapots, and to be honest, despite all the bright lights and features, there's not a lot of substance here, and the base game is incredibly boring.

If you enjoyed the previous two titles in the series, then you'll disagree with me here, but despite putting MEGA infront of everything, it's unlikely BTG are ever going to relive those glory years of Megaways.
