Slot Overview
Frankenstein’s Fortune is a horror-themed video slot from Blueprint Gaming that mixes classic monster imagery with multiple bonus paths, cash-style mechanics and collectible features. The game offers Cash Spins, Frankie Spins and a two-stage Cash Trail bonus, alongside an optional Express Bet. With a maximum win capped at 2,500x your stake, this is a feature-driven slot that focuses more on variety than raw payout potential, but does that trade-off actually pay off for players? Demoslot investigates.
Theme & Design
Frankenstein’s Fortune is a game that is, of course, heavily designed around the Frankenstein theme, but it chooses to take a cartoonish approach, and the reels are set inside a colourful laboratory filled with bubbling jars, crackling electricity and oversized contraptions.
The visuals are bright rather than dark, giving the slot an arcade-like feel that keeps things fairly low-key in our opinion. If you enjoyed releases like Frightening Frankie or Dr. Francashstein, then this will probably appeal to you, theme-wise at least!

Frankenstein’s Fortune Gameplay & Bonus Features
Frankenstein’s Fortune runs on a 5-reel, 3-row layout with 10 fixed paylines. The stake range spans from €0.20 up to €50, and the RTP is set at 95% in both standard play and with Express Bet enabled.
Now, the Collect feature is a pretty core part of the gameplay, and you’ll notice that the Collect symbol appears on reel 1, while cash prize and jackpot symbols can land on reels 2 to 5. When they appear together, the Collect symbol gathers all visible cash values and awards them instantly. There’s also a chance for the Collect symbol to expand and apply a multiplier of up to 5x to all values that it collects, too.
Bonus features are triggered via coloured bonus scatter symbols, each linked to a jar at the top of the reels. Red jars activate Frankie Spins, blue jars trigger Cash Spins, and green jars unlock the Cash Trail. Multiple jars can be filled at once, and each bonus is played separately.
Cash Spins award 10 spins where the Collect symbol is guaranteed to expand and apply multipliers, and here, it’s also possible to re-trigger extra spins. Frankie Spins switches to a special 5×5 bonus grid where a large Collect symbol scoops up standard cash prizes, jackpots and jar symbols, with level-up mechanics that increase both symbol size and spin count.
Finally, the Cash Trail bonus is split into two stages: a multiplier trail driven by a wheel spin, followed by a Big Money stage where a single prize between 50x and 1,000x is awarded instantly.
Express Bet
The Express Bet feature can be activated in the base game at an additional cost of 0.5x your stake. While active, it increases the chance of triggering bonus features but does not alter the RTP.
Pros
- Multiple different bonus mechanics.
- Collect mechanic with random multipliers can be exciting.
- Clear visuals and a familiar (but not over done theme).
Cons
- An RTP of 95.50% is below the current industry average.
- Max win is limited at just 2,500x.
- 10-line format won’t appeal to everyone.
Frankenstein's Fortune Slot Review Final Thoughts
Frankenstein’s Fortune is a slot that clearly prioritises bonus variety over a max win limit that Blueprint Gaming could use to “advertise” the slot, and it follows a nearly identical mechanic we’ve seen in tons of previous releases, where three modifiers are visible above the reels, and they trigger from the base game.
Personally, we’re not big fans of these types of games; they feel lazy, boring, and the lack of a “real” Free Spins bonus is something we don’t like. We also feel the Cash-Collect mechanic is getting VERY close to it’s end-day, and that day can’t come soon enough, but we do, at least, understand that game developers keep producing these types of games because they’re popular.
Still, all of this design work and varying mechanics leads to the obvious question: what’s the point of a maximum win capped at 2,500x? For casual players, it may be more than enough, but for high-volatility slots fans looking for a decent new game to settle into, it seems unlikely that Frankenstein’s Fortune will be on their list, especially when taking into account the below-average RTP of 95%.
