The Wild Frankenstein symbol substitutes for all symbols except Scatter and is central to the game’s mechanics. When a Wild Frankenstein appears fully on screen, it can award a Frankenstein Prize, and this is simply an instant win, worth up to 2,000x.
The Nudge feature activates when a Wild Frankenstein appears only partially on screen. During a Nudge, one or more existing Wild Frankensteins are shifted fully into view, and this process can end up repeating multiple times in a single spin if you’re lucky.
The game’s main Free Spins bonus is triggered by landing 4+ Scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so awards 10 free games, and during the bonus, only Wild Frankenstein, Scatter and blank symbols can land. Frankenstein Wild Surge Slot Review Final Thoughts
Frankenstein Wild Surge is a slot that, we feel, is built almost entirely around the “anticipation” factor more than anything else. Pretty much all of the gameplay revolves around Wild Frankenstein symbols and the Nudge system, and while it can take a while to start actually seeing these in action, when they do line up together, they can deliver some pretty solid hits.
We like the Free Spins bonus, as all the standard symbols are removed from the reels, and this pretty much forces wins through nudges and wilds. Still, while this works for us, it probably won’t for everyone, especially if you’re the type of player who prefers layered bonus mechanics.
We’d say that Frankenstein Wild Surge is best suited to players who enjoy high-volatility slots with clean rules and exciting Wild action, but if you want something with huge win potential (it’s capped at 5,000x) or prefer constant action, this might not be the best game for you.
