Theme & Design

Nolimit City is no stranger to controversial themes, and in Flight Mode, you’ll be taking to the skies, and not on a pleasant flight. The game plays out on an in-flight entertainment system, but forget first class: you’ve just endured a horrific freefall from 10,000 feet and now find yourself watching the action from the ocean, where you’re surrounded by damaged passenger possessions, broken plane parts, and hungry sharks.

Visually, the game uses Nolimit City’s iconic “rugged” look, seen in previous releases like Outsourced, although rather unfittingly for the theme, the audio soundtrack sounds similar to the kind of music you’d hear as you were entering first class and sipping on champagne, ready for the long flight ahead.

Flight Mode Gameplay & Bonus Features

Flight Mode is played on a 6x4 reel grid, and there’s a 729-ways-to-win mechanic in play. You can enjoy the action from as little as €0.20 per spin, with a high maximum bet of €280. The game’s RTP ranges between 92.05% and 96.07%.

You’ll also notice that the 4th row is locked with Max Win symbols. Each time you form a win, a cascading reels mechanic removes the winning symbols, and new ones drop down to take their place.

If a bomb lands, it explodes when no new winning combinations can be formed, removing all regular paying symbols on its reel and row. The Max Win spot at the bottom of that reel is then unlocked, and if you manage to unlock all six, you win the game’s top prize of 5,051x!

Look to the top right-hand corner of the reels, and you’ll also see a multiplier space. When Multiplier Increaser symbols land, they add their value to the next multiplier value, and this can be worth between 2x and 10x. This is then applied against your next win before resetting back to 0. 

There’s also an xHole mechanic, which activates when there are no winning combos. When it does, all symbols from the main reels are sucked in, and they’re then spat out in random positions.

The game’s main bonus round is the Flee Spins feature, triggered by landing 3, 4, or 5 of the scatter symbols anywhere in view. Doing so awards 6, 9, or 12 flee spins, respectively, and during this bonus, the progress of the next multiplier value is kept. Plus, any Max Win positions you unlock remain unlocked for the duration of the feature!
