Slot Overview
Fishing’s Paradise is a 6×5 video slot from AskMeSlot that offers expanding symbols, Wilds-on-the-Way transformations, cascading wins, and increasing multipliers! With up to 32,400 ways to win and a maximum win potential of up to 10,000x, there’s a lot to unpack here, and you can learn all about it in this detailed slot review!
Theme & Design
Fishing Paradise is designed with a bright, tropical aesthetic, set along a sunny fishing pier with calm ocean waters, palm trees, and a soft cartoon art style that feels clean and easy on the eyes. It’s unashamedly “AskMeSlot”, and, like all of their games, you’ll see some (seemingly random) Chinese text on the loading screen, a clear hint at where their games are marketed to!
Still, the artwork is actually quite good in Fishing Paradise. We like the way the high-value symbols look on the reels. The orcas and clownfish, for example, are very detailed and realistic-looking, and we also like the fact that it’s quite a unique-looking fishing slot.
Sure, it may not show quite the same levels of quality found in some of the studio’s other recent titles like Roma Kingdom and Neko Reborn, but Fishing Paradise is a well-designed slot that does the job and is surprisingly detailed mechanically, too.

Fishing’s Paradise Gameplay & Bonus Features
Fishing Paradise is played on a 6-reel, 5-row layout with an additional horizontal reel above reels 2-5, giving the game between 2,025 and 32,400 ways to win depending on the height of symbols. You can bet between ฿1 and ฿3,000 per spin (all AskMeSlot demo games display in Thai Baht). Unfortunately, like all AskMeSlot titles, the RTP isn’t disclosed.
Now, on each spin there can be between 2,025 and 32,400 ways to win depending on the size of the symbols that land on reels 2-5. These oversized symbols can occupy between 2 and 4 spaces, and if you land all oversized symbols on reels 2-5, you’ll unlock the full 32,400 ways to win. The game also uses a tumbling reels mechanic, so winning symbols are removed from the reels before new ones drop down to take their place.
The base game also begins with a 1x win multiplier, and each cascade increases this multiplier by +1 before resetting before the next spin begins. Now, at the core of Fishing Paradise is the Wilds-on-the-Way mechanic. When you spin the reels, you’ll notice that certain symbols can land with silver frames. Whenever these form part of a win, they upgrade to gold frames for the next cascade. If a gold-framed symbol then forms part of a win, it turns into a Wild on the following cascade.
The game’s main feature, a free spins round, is triggered by landing 4+ scatter symbols in view, awarding 10 free spins. Each additional scatter symbol in view adds +2 spins. The free spins round begins with a multiplier of 3x. Unlike the base game, this multiplier is collected and increased every time a symbol lands, regardless of whether it forms part of a win or not.
Bonus Buy
Fishing Paradise includes a Bonus Buy option for players in countries where this is allowed. For 75x your base game stake, you can buy instant entry into the free spins bonus.
Pros
- Win up to 10,000x your bet.
- The unique oversized symbols mechanic offers up to 32,400 ways to win.
- Bonus Buy is reasonably priced at 75x.
Cons
- Multipliers rely heavily on long tumble sequences.
- Fishing Paradise is a very volatile game.
- Oversized symbols can sometimes block wins when poorly positioned.
Fishing's Paradise Slot Review Final Thoughts
Since Big Time Gaming released their Megaways mechanic, we’ve seen tonnes of game developers either license it, or try to come up with something similar of their own. Some have done very well, while others, not so much. What we don’t usually see is small studios like AskMeSlot producing a Megaways-like engine, and that’s exactly what they’ve done in Fishing Paradise, and we absolutely respect them for it.
Yes, it’s not the most novel concept in the world, but we can’t think of another software provider that has done something like this, especially with just a handful of slots under their belt, and for us, it really shows innovation. It works well, and it’s surprisingly exciting, too, as you’re always on the lookout for those oversized symbols on the latter five reels.
There’s also a solid range of bonuses in the game, too. The constant cycle of silver frames becoming gold, then turning into Wilds, keeps the base game fast-paced and lively, and sure, the increasing multiplier during the free spins isn’t the most original mechanic in the world, but when combined with all of the game’s other features? It works and is actually quite fun.
While we’d prefer to see AskMeSlot publishing the RTP, everything else about Fishing Paradise is solid, and if you’re the type of player who likes trying new games, and new mechanics, from new providers, this is definitely a game to check out!
