Game Overview
Just when you thought you were safe from another baited hook and casting net, Blueprint Gaming returns with Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 3, a 5-reel slot with 10 fixed paylines and a max win that hits 10,000x the bet. Will we see more of the same? Or are we in for some new features and bonuses? Join me in my full review of the game to find out.
Theme & Design
We’ve seen this scenario many times before now from Blueprint Gaming, but if you didn’t know already, then the studio is ready to send you out to sea in search of some whopping wins. As with every other game in the Fishin’ Frenzy franchise, although relatively basic in design, Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 3 is a bright and colourful game with eye-catchingly crisp visuals that look great on all devices.
Blueprint has an entire library of fishing games you can choose from, all of which can be located on our dedicated fishing slots page, but if you want another title to play in the series, I’d suggest Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Splash, one of the most popular demos here on our platform.

Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 3 Gameplay & Features
Fishin’ Frenzy The Big Catch 3 is a 5-reel, 3-row slot with 10 fixed paylines and a below-average RTP of 95%. Staking options start from a budget-friendly €0.10 a spin, reaching a maximum of €20 for those of you with cash to burn. Players can also choose to toggle on the Power Play option, which removes all standard symbols from the reels, potentially increasing your chances of triggering a feature.
Now, let’s discuss the bonuses, starting with the fish collector located above the reels. This fills a net each time a fish lands in the base game and can randomly trigger a pick-me round where five features can be activated, including the free spins.
Speaking of free spins, these can be activated via the net, as I just described, or by landing 3, 4, or 5 scatters in view, awarding 10, 15, and 20 free spins, respectively. During this bonus the collector fisherman will reel in any fish and worm values when he lands with them simultaneously, with each instance of him also going towards the progression meter, where lower value fish values are eliminated.
Pros
- Part of a huge game franchise.
- Features the Power Play option.
- Low entry point of €0.10 a spin.
- Good max win of 10,000x.
Cons
- Many of these games are similar in how they play.
- Surely there are more than enough fishing games to choose from already?
Fishin' Frenzy The Big Catch 3 Slot Review Final Thoughts
With so many fishing slot franchises now doing the rounds, these games became impossible to score months ago, so as I now always say, just play through as many of them as you can until you find one you like. The downside is, with so many, you're going to need a good few hours, that's for sure.
