Game Overview
Casino game provider Fa Chai Gaming’s Fierce Fishing isn’t a slot at all, and you’ll find, instead, a fast-paced, multiplayer fishing shooter where you get to fire cannons at sea creatures for multipliers, bonuses, and boss kills worth up to 3000x! It sounds pretty cool, and the well above-average RTP of 97% looks appealing. But how exactly does it all work, and is it any good? Let’s find out.
Theme & Design
Here at Demoslot, as our name implies, we tend to review video slots. Whether it’s the latest releases from Nolimit City and Hacksaw Gaming or old classics from Microgaming, we’re always reviewing video slots, often at a rate of 5 or more every single day!
Every now and then, however, games like Fierce Fishing come along; games that aren’t slots but that are released by iGaming software providers. Today, that’s the case, and rather than spinning reels, Fierce Fishing drops you into a vibrant cartoon-style underwater arena filled with fish, sharks, sea dragons, and explosive boss creatures.
The game looks pretty good, albeit a little cartoon-like, so if you’re a fan of fishing slots like Big Bass Bonanza or Fishin’ Reels and want to try something a little different, Fierce Fishing could be worth a look!

Fierce Fishing Gameplay & Bonus Features
Fierce Fishing has no reels, paylines, or classic slot mechanics. The game is all about shooting, target selection, timing, and bet sizing. You choose from three lobbies with different minimum/maximum bets, and your cannon’s power scales directly with the stake. You simply select your stake, choose your weapon, and click on the screen where you want to fire!
Each creature you hit has a corresponding multiplier, from small 2x fish to gigantic boss beasts worth between 100x and 2000x. The goal is simple: you shoot at fish, try to land a kill, and, if you do that, you earn a multiplier that is tied to your bet.
Smaller fish die quickly, offering smaller, more frequent wins, while bigger creatures require dozens of shots and often multiple players firing together. This is where Fierce Fishing gets quite unique: it’s a multiplier game, which means it’s unavailable in some regions that don’t allow real-money gaming of this type.
Now, where things start to get interesting is the weapon upgrades and boss-based features. You can win a Drill Cannon, for example, that applies a base 10x power boost, makes it easier to kill high-value fish, and makes it more likely that you’ll be able to successfully kill targeted fish.
There’s also the Dragon King Cannon, which offers you 25 free bullets, can hold up to 99, adds random multipliers to low-value fish, and allows you to – temporarily – kill big fish with little effort.
If you play together and manage to take down bigger creatures like the Deep Sea Giant Crab or the Emperor Squid, you can also randomly trigger the Play Together feature. Here, you and three other players are brought together to fight an Emperor. If you manage to defeat him, you share a whopping 3,000x prize!
Pros
- Very unique multiplier arcade-style game.
- Share a maximum prize of up to 3,000x.
- Unique weapons available (to buy).
Cons
- Not a traditional slot machine in any sense of the word.
- Can get very expensive, very quickly.
- Requires patience and focus, unlike slots.
Fierce Fishing Review Final Thoughts
Fierce Fishing is one of the most unique games we’ve reviewed in a while, and to be honest, we’re still not entirely sure we’ve understood every aspect of it. It’s fast-paced, hectic, and really does make you feel as though you’re playing a video game, so if you’re looking for a classic slot machine, this is about as far away from that as you can possibly get.
However, there is something surprisingly enjoyable about the game. The 97% RTP is, of course, attractive, and we like the fact that you basically choose which weapon to fire, select your stake, and pick which creatures you want to try and kill; it’s very flexible.
However, it does seem to get very expensive, very quickly, and if you don’t manage to kill the bigger creatures, you can, quite literally, see your balance drain in real time. So, if you decide to give this one a go, we’d definitely recommend playing it in demo mode first, so you understand exactly what you’re getting yourself into!
