Game Overview
Disorder is Nolimit City’s latest psychological thriller, and it’s designed as a prequel to its infamous Mental series. It’s a 6-reel slot with a dynamic 4-3-4-3-4-3 layout, 1,728 ways to win, and a generous maximum win potential of up to 23,500x!
Theme & Design
Set in the eerie calm of a 1950s suburban world, Disorder begins by looking like a perfect world, with shiny cars, a tidy home, and a loving family, but that doesn’t last for long, as the visuals soon shift into a grim kind of psychosis, and the reels quickly become chaotic, much like we see in the original Mental.
As you’d expect from a Nolimit City release, Disorder also has a fittingly eerie soundtrack, and while it may not be quite as intense as that of Mental 2, it’s still enough to drive you into proverbial madness (unless of course you end up hitting the max win, in which case you’ll probably be jumping with joy!)

Disorder Gameplay & Features
Disorder’s core setup consists of 6 reels and a 4-3-4-3-4-3 layout, and you’ll find a total of 1,728 ways to win. It features cascading symbols that drop after each win, and this allows new symbols to drop down and take their place. You can wager between €0.20 and €100 per spin, and, like most Nolimit City releases, the RTP varies, with the default version being 96.11%.
Now, the first mechanic to be introduced into the game is the Fire Frames, and these randomly appear on the grid. They split any symbols inside into two, and regular symbols can split up to 16 times! Any scatter symbols landing in a Fire Frame are upgraded into super scatters.
The more Fire Frames that appear, the more Enhancer Cells you’ll activate, and these are seen below reels 2, 4, and 6 and unlock when 4, 7, or 9 Fire Frames are present. When active, they reveal modifiers including splitting symbols, transforming symbols, and adding multipliers of up to 999x.
Landing three or more scatters triggers one of three bonus rounds. Obsessive Compulsive Spins start with at least 6 free spins, during which Fire Frames and multipliers reset after every spin. Landing additional super scatters upgrades the feature to Antisocial Personality Spins, where the win multiplier does NOT reset between spins.
The highest tier, Severe Dissociative Identity Spins, is where the money is at, as here, you’ll benefit from sticky Fire Frames and a persistent multiplier. Unlike Mental and Mental 2, Disorder also gives you the chance of buying an extra spin at the conclusion of a bonus, provided its cost is less than your current winnings.
Bonus Buy & Boosters
Players can choose from a selection of enhanced bets and feature buys on Disorder. These are:
- Bonus Boosters – Ranging from 2x to 15x the bet.
- Obsessive Disorder Spins: Costs 80x the bet.
- Antisocial Personality Spins: Costs 300x the bet.
- Severe Dissociative Identity Spins: Costs 800x the bet.
Pros
- Unique-looking dual-theme design.
- Three different bonuses with varying volatility.
- Win up to 23,500x your bet.
Cons
- Complex mechanics might overwhelm casual players.
- Lower maximum win potential than Mental or Serial.
Disorder Slot Review Final Thoughts
Disorder is Nolimit City showing, once again, that it’s able to design fantastic-looking slots with real personality. It’s a theme we’ve rarely seen before, and the game developer does a superb job of exploring the identity of the game but making it confusing at the same time.
It’s a bit easier to follow than Mental, too (which was a common complaint with some of the more casual online slots players), and mechanically, we think it does a pretty good job of balancing chaos with structure.
Our only real complaint is the lower maximum win potential of 23,500x. Of course, it’s still a huge maximum win limit, but it pales in comparison to some of the releases we’ve seen from Nolimit City recently. Other than that, however, it’s a pretty solid game, and one we’ll definitely be having a go on for ourselves.
