Pros

  • Uses syncing reels. A feature not overused in the industry.
  • Big maximum win of 20,000x.
  • Multiple bonus buy options are available.
  • More of an adult theme, which will appeal to a certain style of player.

Cons

  • On the flip side, the theme could turn some players off.
  • The RTP is below the industry average.
  • If the synced reels only go as far as two, it's difficult to land a good matchup.

Dick The Farmer Slot Review Final Thoughts

I can remember my first real encounter with synced reels being on Big Time Gaming's Queen of Riches Megaways slot, so I'm always eager to see what developers do with it in modern-day releases, as it's an in-game mechanic that's rarely used. It does work in a similar fasion to Queen of Riches in Yggdrasil Gaming's Dick the Farmer, although the cheekily themed slot doesn't always stick the synced reels together, meaing it can be a bit harder to win if they are spaced apart.

This element of the game appears on every spin and does make the base game more enjoyable, but the slot comes to life in the free spins round, where win multipliers can be won and added to a global multiplier, really giving you a shot at hitting the best wins in the game. Further opportunities for big wins come via the jackpot wheel, triggered when the meter at the top of the screen is filled through landing wilds in view. Once the wheel is activated, you are guaranteed to win one of the jackpots positioned above the reels.

To wrap things up, Dick the Farmer is a slot game with a more adult theme that those with a saucy sense of humour will find enjoyable. However, once that element of the game wears off, I don't see it being too long before you move on to something else.
