Game Overview
We’ve all got our favourite outlaw from the past, whether it be the legendary Jesse James or Billy the Kid. The myths that surround these famous gunslingers have long fascinated many of us, so spinning the western theme into an online slot genre just makes perfect sense, doesn’t it? With that said, we’re back once more, strapped up with a Colt 45 and ready to go in the Deadeye slot from Elk Studios, a 6-reel high-volatility game with multipliers, wilds, and wins that can hit the heights of 10,000x the bet.
Theme & Design
Elk are now one of the more established slot studios in iGaming, and they’ve earned their stripes over the years with some brilliant games showcasing what the studio is capable of in the graphics department. Those design skills are again on view in Deadeye, and although it’s not the developer’s best work, the visuals are clear and crisp, and the western theme has been well presented by the provider.
There are literally 100s of titles for you to choose from if you wish to explore the western slot genre further, but if you want to try something a little different, then stick with Elk and check out their Pirots 3 and Pirots 4 games here on our platform.

Deadeye Gameplay & Features
Elk Studios’ Deadeye is a 6-reel, 4-row online slot featuring 30 paylines and an RTP of 94%. Players can join the gameplay from a minimum of €0.20 to a maximum of €100 per spin.
Onto the features, and above the main reels you’ll see steel doors. At the beginning of each spin, bullets can be fired onto these, adding multipliers to the character symbols in the game. If the character symbols then land on the reel below the steel doors, they will be transformed into wilds. Additionally, saloon doors can land on reels 3 and 4. If these hit and don’t match up, they will nudge into position where a duel will then take place, and either one or two big wild multipliers will be added to the reels.
The main bonus round on Deadeye is triggered when 3 bonus symbols land in view. During this round a gun barrel comes into play, and each time the bonus symbols land and fill it, 6 bullets will be fired at the steel plates, adding more multipliers.
Bonus Buy
There are multiple bonus buy and enhanced betting options in Deadeye. These are:
- Bonus Hunt: Triple the chance of triggering the feature – Costs 3x the bet.
- Shots Fired: One spin where 3 shots are fired onto the plates – Costs 10x the bet.
- Duel: One spin where the duel feature is guaranteed – costs 25x the bet.
- Bonus Buy: Trigger the free spins at the cost of 100x the bet.
- Super Bonus: Trigger the super bonus at the cost of 500x the bet.
Pros
- Big multipliers can be in play.
- Max min of 10,000x.
Cons
- Low RTP.
- Some may find the theme overused.
Deadeye Slot Review Final Thoughts
Deadeye might not have the razzmatazz of other games in the western slot niche, but it's still a good game and a nice addition to the Elk catalogue.
