Played across a 4, 5, 5, 5, 4 reel configuration, Dark Forge comes with 2,000 fixed betways, where wins are awarded when 3 or more matching symbols connect from left to right. Dark Forge uses an avalanche system where winning symbols explode from the reels, allowing new symbols to drop into place and potentially create additional wins. This continues until no more winning combinations appear, with every avalanche payout added together before the round ends.

Alongside the reels sits a progressive multiplier meter which doubles after every avalanche win. The multiplier resets at the start of each new spin, but during strong avalanche chains, it can build quickly.

Two special symbol variants can also appear on reels 2, 3, and 4.

Lightning symbols remove one of the upcoming multiplier steps whenever they are part of a winning combination, effectively speeding up access to the higher multiplier values on the meter.
