Game Overview
Here’s an original looking game by industry stalwarts Endorphina. These guys have been creating quality online slots for a long time, with an emphasis on quality titles with just enough spice to keep things fun and exciting – there’s nothing confusing about these games, nothing you won’t understand, and likely, lot’s that you will love. Cyber Wolf is an old school ten-liner – my favourite kind! – and an RTP of 96.05%. I wasn’t able to find a reliable source for the max win on this one, I suspect it’s 5,000x bet, but maybe we’ll have a go at calculating it later once we get to the bonus games section of the review.
As for features, well, I’d say a 166x payout for all five scatters counts as a feature these days, with more and more games paying nothing for any number of scatters whatsoever. We’ve also got stacked wilds on reels 2, 3, and 4, which occur both in the main game and during free spins. Speaking of the free spins, an extra wilds feature can turn almost the entire reel set into wild symbols if you have a lucky enough run – just look out for the special accumulator symbols!
Whether you are new to Endorphina’s online slots or are a seasoned professional, you’ll want to check out Cyber Wolf – especially if you have played one of their other wolf slots before. Fire up our free demo slot of Cyber Wolf below and give the game a blast for yourself – we guarantee you’ll have some fun!
Cyber Wolf Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
Well, this is a tough one… plenty of games feature wolves, and Endorphina have released other Wolf slots over the years too, but there’s never been anything like Cyber Wolf before! The presentation is immaculate, and the symbols look fantastic no matter which device you choose to play the game on. The effects that light up the symbols when you score a win are fantastic, although they can seem a little underwhelming if you’ve only hit a few pennies or so – but there’s always next time, right? We especially love when several stacks of wild symbols land together, and the bells go off big time – it’s not the kind of annoying sounds that so many other games go with; it suits the cyber theme of the game perfectly and lasts just long enough that you won’t tire of it and turn the sound off within moments of first hearing it.
And now the big question – do the payouts live up to the perfect image that Cyber Wolf has presented so far? In many ways, yes! As a ten-line slot, this gives Endorphina much more latitude to have bigger numbers on the paytable. It’s worth remembering that these bigger combinations will roll in much less regularly than you might like, however, so don’t get too excited. Still, I’d rather win lots, a little less often, than next to nothing, every ten seconds. The wolf sits atop the paytable with a return of 50x your stake for a full line of five of a kind – remember, with the stacked wilds on reels two, three, and four, this combination could multiply in value quickly! The Lucky Seven takes second place with a return of 40x for all five, whilst the bell steps this down to 30x for five-of-a-kind.
This is the only situation in my life where I won’t be avoiding the claws, as a 20x payout awaits if you can hit five of those on a payline. After this, we get to the regular royal symbols, which range in value between 15x your bet and 10x your bet for full pay lines – not bad at all for the bottom of the table combinations, and all of this could be particularly lucrative in the free spin bonus round!
Betting ranges are nice and straightforward on this one; you set a coin value and then choose a bet size between one and ten. At penny stakes, that means €0.10 to €1.00, whilst at the top end of the scale, you’d be betting between €10.00 and €100.00 per spin! That, however, is for braver folks than I.
Base Game & Modifiers
Not much to say about the base gameplay on this one – we did say that Endorphina likes to keep their games simple! It’s a 5×3 playfield game with ten pay lines and wins being awarded for hitting matching symbols from left to right. I wish there was a little more to say – maybe a modifier or two – but I’m going to cut Endorphina some slack here, as this is such a fun game anyway.
Cyber Wolf Slot Free Spins Feature
Finally! Time to talk about the game’s main draw, the free games with extra wild symbols. To make your way to this mode, you will need to hit three or more scatter symbols during the main game, for which you will be awarded eight free spins.
At the beginning of this feature, a random symbol will be selected and transformed into a wild symbol – in the game’s information files, this is shown as the Ace symbol. The Ace now can substitute for all symbols, adding wilds to the first and fifth reel, unlike the base game. But that’s not all…
Any symbol can appear with a lightning bolt “accumulator” icon attached to it during the main game. When this occurs, one cell of the accumulator ring displayed around each regular symbol above the reels will be filled. Each symbol requires a different number of accumulators to fill it up, but once you have collected the required amount, that symbol will become wild, and you’ll be awarded 1 extra spin.
Gamble Feature
Be careful with this one. It’s a red/black playing card gamble that can either double your winnings or take them all away. I would stay clear, personally – I only do pie gambles where you can save some of your winnings!
Cyber Wolf Slot Review Final Thoughts
I was impressed with Cyberwolf – it’s a straightforward, no-nonsense video slot that will appeal to fans of the slots of ten years ago, especially before everything got so intense and over-stimulating; give this one a blast; we recommend it for sure.
