Game Overview
The difficulty of “cracking” your way into a bank today – defeating alarm systems, motion sensors, cameras, sound & light detection systems. Then there are systems that detect sudden changes in temperature, a smoke-release failsafe, laser assault causes, vibration sensors, and physical security such as humans and dogs. Got what it takes to get around all that? Liar! If you did, you sure as hell aren’t reading an article on slot machines; you’re sitting on your yacht somewhere in the Atlantic… probably near Barbados. For the rest of us, we can try the Crack the Bank slot from Booming Games, a 20-pay line game with a 95.70% RTP and a maximum win of 10,000x bet.
Features then? Bizarrely, the scatter symbol is represented by a law enforcement officer – does getting three of them together get you into the vault? Ah, no, they are in on it! Instead of locking you up, they lock the wilds up instead! No good corrupt coppers, arrest me! Not those wild symbols! Or, how about you keep locking up the wilds, and I’ll split the winnings with you? You better give me plenty of sticky wilds, or it won’t be worth either of our time, will it?! There’s also a Hold & Win” feature, of course, which is a typical three-spin bonus round,
Once you have finished taking off your ski mask, burning evidence, and hiding the money somewhere clever like… oh, I don’t know, the tumble dryer, like that criminal mastermind Walter White from Breaking Bad, perhaps? Then sit down and get our free demo slot of Crack the Bank on your laptop screen ASAP and remember to look natural when you answer the door. It wasn’t me, guv. Honest.
Crack The Bank Slot Theme, Stakes, Pays & Symbols
We’ve seen so many bank heist slots lately that it’s getting a bit; well, let me take a snooze. Oh, sorry. Where were we? Oh yes, But there are lots of alternatives. I mean, there’s Bust the Bank? Or how about Break da Bank Megaways? Okay, play it safe; you borrowing legit citizen you. Get yourself on a game show like Deal or No Deal Banker’s Bonanza like a good little boy, you goody-two-shoes non-bank-robbing citizen you. Oh no, you can’t, can you? It seems you are not necessary then; you are the weakest link, goodbye! Except here at demoslot, of course! We want you! Even if you are a bit of a square. Here’s a tip, though – all the best holes are round.
Want to talk paytables then? Yeah, I don’t blame you! The wild symbol, for example, is worth 125x for every completed pay line of five-of-a-kind – not half bad for a base game hit, I reckon! Next, we have the diamond and gold bars sharing the second-placed spot with returns of just 30x for a line of five. The piles of US Dollars are worth 25x for five-of-a-kind, and finally, the dollar coins are worth 20x for a full payline.
What you can you choose to bet? Well, if you are, indeed, a square, and like to keep your bets below €20.00 per spin, then you’ll be pleased to know there are lots of options between the minimum bet of €0.20 and the “square limit” of €20.00 I just made up. On the other hand, if you are a bank robber, you may be annoyed to discover there are just a handful of possible bets between €20.00 and €100.00 per round. Pro Tip: Always bet at land-based casinos when trying to launder your ill-gotten games. And never pick one in the United States.
Base Game & Modifiers
How about the base game of the Crack the Bank online slot, then? Sadly, you’ll probably learn more about cracking banks from this article than you will from playing this game, but, alas, there’s only so much I can reveal in a day, isn’t there!
This is a five-reel, three-row slot with 20 fixed paylines, you’ll need to hit at least three matching symbols on a payline to score some of that lovely booty, and that’s about it – nothing else to report in the base game. Well, you know it is called Crack the Bank (Yes, Chris, you’ve cracked enough “Jokes” about that now – Ed), so you didn’t expect to find the real big wins just lying around in the lobby, did you!… Did you?
Crack The Bank Slot Bonus Features
The game features two main bonus rounds, including the Hold & Win bonus mentioned in the title and a free spins bonus. So, let’s look at these in a little more detail.
Hold & Win Feature
Unlike many Hold and Win features, you don’t need six triggering symbols to score this bonus round. Instead, there are two sets of scatter symbols – the first set relates to this feature, whilst the second – the ones we mentioned are decorated by law enforcement – are reserved for the free spin feature.
Other than the triggering mechanism, however, the hold and win mode works just like other three-spin features; you begin with three lives, each time a new symbol lands, the spin count resets to three, and the bonus concludes when you either run out of lives or fill the entire grid with bonus symbols.
However, whilst most versions of this feature included in other games will usually award the maximum jackpot or at least some huge prize if you manage to fill the entire grid with symbols, no such bonus payoff is awarded here. That’s almost criminal, in my view! Maybe we should crack the bank… the bank of the developers who made this slot!
Free Spins Feature
With no jackpot prize in the Hold & Win feature, it won’t come as a surprise to hear me say that this is my favourite feature of the two. Oh, and it definitely has nothing to do with those sticky wild symbols. I mean, nobody who has ever read more than a dozen of my reviews has a clue how I feel about those, do they (sorry, I know, it’s bad practice littering reviews with sarcasm).
Free spins cannot be re-triggered, and you only get eight of them, but on the plus side, wilds appear on all five reels and remain locked in place for the duration of the bonus round, suggesting that you should be able to hit some mammoth wins here.
Crack The Bank Slot Review Final Thoughts
Ah, come on, you know what I’m going to say! A sticky wild bonus round combined with a three-spin feature and beautiful presentation? Instant winner. No further comment is necessary.
